Meta-analysis Of Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction Combined With Western Medicine In Treating Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective:Meta-analysis was carried out on the clinical randomized controlled trial of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis to provide certain evidence-based medical basis for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods:Through the search of computer science system,the literatures on clinicalrandomized controlled trials of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction plus or minus combined with western medicine in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis since the establishment of databases such as CNKI,China Biomedical Literature Database,VIP Chinese Sci-tech Periodical Database,Wanfang Database,Pub Med,Web of Science,EMbase,etc.to December 2019 were collected.Through strict inclusion and exclusion criteria to evaluate the quality of documents,appropriate documents were screened out and meta-analysis was carried out using Reviews Manager 5.3.The main outcome indicators were clinical effective rate,knee WOMAC score,knee Lequesne score,pain visual analog VAS score.Results:1.Among the 15 articles included,14 articles took the effective rate as the observation index.meta-analysis results showed that the heterogeneity test DF=13(P=0.49);I~2=0%<50%indicates that there is no statistical significance in heterogeneity among the studies.the fixed effect model is used for merger analysis,OR=4.05,95%CI[2.88,5.69],and the merger effect test Z=8.03(P<0.000 01)indicates that the difference between the two groups is statistically significant.2.Among the 15 articles included,4 took WOMAC score as the observation index,and meta-analysis results showed that the heterogeneity meta DF=3(P=0.83);I~2=0%<50%indicates that there is no statistical significance in heterogeneity among the studies.the fixed effect model is used for merger analysis,MD=-4.24,95%CI[-5.40,-3.08],and the merger effect test Z=7.17(P<0.000 01)indicates that the difference between the two groups is statistically significant.3.Among the 15 articles included,4 used the Lequesne score as the observationindicator.The meta-analysis results showed that the heterogeneity test df=3(P=0.39);I~2=1%<50%suggested that there was no heterogeneity between studies Statistical significance,combined analysis using a fixed-effects model,SMD=-1.04,95%CI[-1.25,-0.84],combined effect test Z=9.99(P<0.000 01)suggests that the difference between the two groups has statistical significance.4.Among the 15 articles included,2 took VAS score as the observation index,and meta-analysis results showed that the heterogeneity meta DF=1(P=0.34);I~2=0%<50%indicates that there is no statistical significance in heterogeneity among the studies.the fixed effect model is used for merger analysis,MD=-0.98,95%CI[-1.23,-0.74],and the merger effect test Z=7.87(P<0.000 01)indicates that the difference between the two groups has statistical significance.Conclusion:1)The clinical efficacy of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of KOA is more significant,which is better than Western medicine alone;(2)The combination of Duhuo parasitic decoction Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of KOA is better than Western medicine alone in the treatment of analgesia;(3)Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Western medicine to treat KOA is better than Western medicine alone;(4)Modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Western medicine to treat KOA is better than Western medicine alone;(5)The combination of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with Western medicine in the treatment of KOA to restore joint function is superior to Western medicine alone.In summary,the efficacy of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction plus or minus combined with western medicine in the treatment of KOA has certain advantages in clinical effectiveness,relief of joint pain,improvement of joint swelling,and improvement of joint function.
