A Meta-analysis Of The Therapeutic Effect Of Duhuojii Decoction Combined With Sodium Hyaluronate On Knee Osteoarthritis

Purpose: By studying the meta-analysis of the clinical efficacy about Duhuojisheng decoction combined with hyaluronate treating the knee osteoarthritis.Evaluating its clinical efficacy Scientificly and objectively,To provide evidence for the treatment of the knee osteoarthritis.Materials and Methods: Extracting the relevant keywords of this study and adopting scientific and effective literature retrieval method,Such databases as CBM?CNKI?Wang Fang Date?VIP?Pub Med and The Cochrane Library were searched to collect the randomized controlled trials of Duhuojisheng decoction combined with sodium hyaluronate in treatment of knee osteoarthritis.The Rev Man5.3 soft ware was used to analyze the data.The improved Jadad score scale was used to evaluate the literature quality.The main evaluation indexes included clinical efficiency,KSS score of knee joint,HSS score of knee joint,VAS score of pain visual simulation,and WOMAC score of knee joint.These outcomes were estimated by OR,MD,SMD and 95%CI.Results: 1.Compared to the simple application of HA,Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA to treat KOA is more effective.The efficiency of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The resulting data as follows: There is no heterogeneity(P=0.91,I2=0%<50%),[OR=3.34,95%CI(2.50,4.47)],Z=8.11,P<0.00001,The difference was statistically significant.The funnel plot is basically symmetrical,and the publication bias is small.2.Compared Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA and the simple application of HA in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,The VAS score in the test group decreased more than the control group.The heterogeneity is high(P=0.0003,I2 =78%>50%),[MD=-1.09,95%CI(-1.42,-0.76)],Z=6.48,P<0.00001,The difference was statistically significant.3.Compared Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA and the simple application of HA in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,The KSS score in the test group is rising more than the control group.The heterogeneity is high(P<0.00001,I2 =91%>50%),[MD=7.90,95%CI(2.75,13.05)],Z=3.00,P=0.003,The difference was statistically significant.4.Compared Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA and the simple application of HA in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,The WOMAC score in the test group decreased more than the control group.The heterogeneity is high(P=0.0002,I2 =93%>50%),[MD=-8.29,95%CI(-14.47,-2.12)],Z=2.63,P=0.008,The difference was statistically significant.Conclusion: Compared Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA and the simple application of HA in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,The efficiency of the experimental group was higher than the control group.It is effective in relieving pain,improving joint stiffness,reducing difficulty in daily life,improving joint activity and stability.Duhuojisheng decoction combined with HA is a safe and effective treatment.
