Correlative Randomized Controlled Trial On The Treatment Of Early And Middle Stage Knee Osteoarthritis By Longzhong Bonesetting Technique

Objective:LongZhong bonesetting technique is a theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine as a guide,based on the local folk bonesetting skill in Gansu,synthesized masters’pithy,combined with modern medical technology,after repeated practice.It is found that the treatment of knee osteoarthritis has a good curative effect.But there is few of clinical evidence.In this study,a randomized controlled trial was used to observe the clinical efficacy of LongZhong bonesetting technique in the treatment of early and middle stage knee osteoarthritis.Methods:Selected 120 cases of early and middle stage knee osteoarthritis patients,randomly averagely divided into treatment group and control group.To the treatment group cases,have LongZhong bonesetting technique treatment,once a day,5 days treatment for one period of treatment,2days rest after each period,total 5 periods of treatment.The control group received singly intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate,once a week,total 5 weeks.Before the treatment,2 weeks after the start of treatment,2 weeks after the end of treatment,8weeks and 24 weeks after the end of treatment,pain and functional status were respectively assessed by vsual analogue scale（VAS）,Lequene&Mery scoring system,Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score（KOOS）.The Nimodipine method was used to assess the clinical efficacy.Results:In the 60 cases of the treatment group,24 cases were lost.23 cases were lost in the control group.There were 73 cases in total effective cases,36 cases in the treatment group and 37 in the control group.（1）There was no significant difference in sex,age,weight,height,course of disease and X-ray classification between the two groups（P>0.05）.（2）The comparison within the groups of the treatment group and the control group,in the VAS score,Lequene&Mery score,KOOS score,there was significant difference at the2^th week,the 6^th week,the 12^th week and the 28^th week compared with the 0^th week.（3）The comparison between the treatment group and the control group,in the VAS score and KOOS score,there was significant difference at the 2^th week and the 28^th week.There was no significant difference at the 6^th week and the 12^th week.In the Lequene&Mery score,there was significant difference at the 2^th week,and no significant difference at the 6^th week,the 12^th week and the 28^th week.（4）Curative effect:Treatment group effective 35 cases,1 had no effect,the total effective rate was 97.22%;Control group markedly effective 1 cases,effective 36 cases,the total effective rate was 100%.There was no significant difference.Conclusion:（1）the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and joint injection of sodium hyaluronate had a good short-term effect.（2）compared with the intra-articular injection of sodium hyaluronate,LongZhong bonesetting technique is used to treat the early onset of knee osteoarthritis.（3）LongZhong bonesetting technique in the treatment of early and middle stage knee osteoarthritis is better than the joint injection of sodium hyaluronate in the long-term effect of pain.
