The Clinical Observation Of Guihu Zhitong Decoction In Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea Of Cold Coagulation And Blood Stasis Type

Purpose:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Guihu Zhitong Decoction in treating primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type by comparing Guihu Zhitong Decoction with Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction.Method:76 patients with primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis type who met the inclusion criteria were selected and collected from May 2018 to January 2020 at the Gynecological Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group(38cases)and control group(38 cases)according to the number of the patients in the treatment order.All of them started taking the medicine 5 days before the onset of menstrual cramps,and continued taking it for 7 days for 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.In this study,VAS score,dysmenorrhea symptom score,TCM symptom score and WHOQOL-BREF score were taken as the final efficacy evaluation indicators to evaluate clinical efficacy of Guihu Zhitong Decoction in treating primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and stasis type.result:1.Efficacy evaluation of dysmenorrhea symptoms:4 cases were cured,5 cases were markedly effective,23 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective in the control group,the cure and marked effective rate was 25.00% and the total effective rate was 88.89%;In the treatment group,6 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,14 cases were effective,and 3 cases were ineffective,the cure and marked effective rate was 52.78% and the total effective rate was 91.67%.After examination,there was a statistical difference in the cure and marked effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).This shows that Guihu Zhitong Decoction is better than Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in improving dysmenorrhea symptoms.2.Efficacy evaluation of TCM syndrome:3 cases were cured,6 cases were markedly effective,22 cases were effective,and 5 cases were ineffective in the control group,with a cure and marked effective rate of 25.00% and a total effective rate of 86.11%;In the treatmentgroup,6 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,and 3cases were ineffective.The cure and marked effective rate was 50.00%,and the total effective rate was 91.67%.After examination,there was a statistical difference in the cure and marked effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).This shows that Guihu Zhitong Decoction is better than Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in improving TCM symptoms.3.VAS efficacy evaluation: intra-group comparison: the scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment,and both had statistical significance(P < 0.01);Inter-group comparison: there was no significant difference in the score between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).It shows that both groups can effectively relieve pain,and the analgesic effect of the two groups is similar.4.WHOQOL-BEEF efficacy evaluation: Intra-group Comparison: After treatment,the scores of both groups were higher than before treatment,and both had statistical significance(P < 0.01);Inter-group comparison: there was no significant difference in the score between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).It shows that both groups can improve the quality of life of patients,and the improvement effect is similar between the two groups.5.No adverse reactions occurred in 72 patients who completed the treatment.Conclusion:Guihu Zhitong Decoction,which can warm channels,dispell cold,remove blood stasis and relieve pain,has definite curative effect on primary dysmenorrhea due to cold coagulation and blood stasis,and is superior to Shaofu Zhuyu Decoction in improving dysmenorrhea symptoms and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms.Therefore,the clinical application of Guihu Zhitong Decoction in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea due to cold coagulation and blood stasis is worthy of further research and promotion.
