Effect Of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction On Postoperative Nausea And Vomiting In Breast Cancer Patients After General Anesthesia

Background:PONV is one of the common complications after surgical general anesthesia.The incidence of PONV in breast cancer patients is about 30%-40%,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients and Postoperative rehabilitation.Objective:Guided by the theories of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,to analyze the tiopathogenisis,pathogenesis and prevention and treatment principles of PONV,after general anesthesia,and observe the clinical effect of Banxia Baizhu Tianma decoction on PONV after general anesthesia in patients with breast cancer 9 to provide clinical basis for prevention and treatment of PONV with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:120 patients with breast cancer diagnosed by breast surgery and undergoing modified radical mastectomy under general anesthesia in Nantong Third People's Hospital from January 2019 to October 2019 were randomly divided into group A(n=60),and group B(n=60)according to the admission orders.Group A received Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction,and group B received placebo.The incidence rate of PONV,severity degree,number of azasetron treatment cases,cumulative dosage of azasetron,and adverse reaction rate were observed within postoperative 0-4h?4-12h?12-24h respectively.Results:The incidence rate of PONV,severity degree,number of azasetron treatment cases,cumulative dosage of azasetron,and adverse reaction rate of group A were lower than those of group B within 24 hours,with statistic difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction has a significant effect on prevention and treatment of PONV.It might reduce the incidence of PONV,the number of azasetron treatment cases and the cumulative dosage of azasetron within 24 hours,which provides the clinical basis for the prevention and treatment of PONV by TCM.
