Clinical Study On Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction In Treating Senile Hypertension And Phlegm Obstruction

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of senile hypertension and Phlegm-Stagnation SyndromeMethods:60 cases of Chinese medicine dialectical as phlegm-stagnation syndrome,Western medicine diagnosis of patients with grade 2 or 3 elderly hypertension were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was treated with oral western medicine: amlodipine besylate tablets.The treatment group was supplemented with the above-mentioned western medicines and added Banxia Baizhu Tianmao Decoction.The course of treatment was 14 days.After the treatment,the patient's blood pressure,TCM syndrome and safety were observed.Changes in sexual indicators and statistical analysis to evaluate their clinical efficacy.Result:1.Antihypertensive effect: The total effective rate of blood pressure in the treatment group was 90%,and the total effective rate of blood pressure in the control group was 70%.The effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Blood pressure: Both the treatment group and the control group can reduce systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure,while the blood pressure of the treatment group is higher than that of the control group,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3.TCM syndromes:(1)The total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement in the control group was 67%,and the total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement in the treatment group was 87%.The effective rate of the control group was lower than that of the treatment group.Academic significance(P<0.05).(2)The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the main symptoms(dizziness,headache,head wrap,chest tightness,vomiting)and secondary symptoms(heart palpitations,insomnia,dry mouth,and less food).The difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);4.Safety observation indicators: All patients had no adverse reactions during the medication,and there was no significant change in blood routine and liver and kidney function before and after treatment.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction combined with Western medicine can significantly improve the TCM syndromes of elderly patients with hypertension(phlegm-stagnation syndrome),can more effectively reduce the patient's blood pressure,and is safe and effective,reflecting the advantages of Chinese medicine dialectical treatment,it is worth deepening Research and promotion.
