Study On The Correlation Of Serum 5-HT Contents Between The "Heart Can't Store Spirit" Type And "Liver Can't Store Soul" Type Patients With Insomnia

Objective:Based on the previousresearch of the“Traditional Chinese medicine Wushen classification diagnosis method of insomnia”,detecting the content of serotonin in the“heart can't store spirit”and“liver can't store soul”typeand analyzing the characteristics of the serotonin of the two types,in order to enrich the clinical evidence of “Traditional Chinese medicine Wushen classification diagnosis method of insomnia”and promote its clinical Extension and application.Method: The patients who were diagnosed as insomnia were collected from the Shenzhi Department of the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.According tothe“Traditional Chinese medicine Wushen classification diagnosis method of insomnia”to screen 76 cases of “heart can't store spirit”typeand 91 cases of “liver can't store soul” type.At the same time,80 cases of normal control group were collected.Than detected the serum 5-HT content of each group and analysed the difference between the three groups.Result: In this study,the ratio of male to female in insomnia patients was 1:2.63,and women were significantly more than males.In terms of age distribution,the number of patients with insomnia increased with age,accounting for79.64% of them aged 35-50.The serum 5-HT level of insomnia patients was higher than that of normal people,but there were 13.77% of the patients with low function.The serum5-HT levels of“heart can't store spirit”and“liver can't store soul”types of insomnia in this study were higher than those of normal people(P<0.05,P<0.01);the serum 5-HT levels of“liver can't store soul”group were higher than that of “heart can't store spirit”type(P<0.05);the total PQSI scores of“heart can't store spirit”group and“liver can't store soul”group existed differences(P < 0.01).Conclusion:The total score of PQSI of“heart can't store spirit”type was higher than that of“liver can't store soul” type.The serum 5-HT levelsof the patients with insomnia in the “heart can't store spirit”typeand the “liver can't store soul” type were higher than that in the normal people.Theserum 5-HT levelsof the patients with insomnia in the “liver can't store soul”type was higher than that in the“heart can't store spirit”type.
