Study On The Characteristics Of Serum DA Contents Between The "Heart Con't Store Spirit" Type And "Liver Con't Store Soul" Type Patients With Insomnia

Objective:To investigate the characteristic changes of serum DA contents of the patients with insomnia who were discriminated to "heart con't store spirit"type(which would be abbreviated as "heart type" in later chapters of this text)and"liver con't store soul" type("liver type"),and to explore the differential basis between heart type and liver type,on the basis of previous research findings.Methods:Patients with insomnia were selected in the Department of psychiatric hospital affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University.By TCM-Five-God typing methods for insomnia,to investigate the characteristic changes of serum DA contents,three groups were established,such as heart group(n=84),liver group(n=91),and normal group(n=80).Results:There was no difference in serum DA contents between the liver group and normal group(P>0.05).There was significant difference between heart group and normal group(P<0.01),and so did between heart group and liver group(P<0.01).COnclusion:DA may be used as a marker for the diagnosis of heart type,and a diagnostic evidence for identifying heart type and liver type.
