Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Liujunzi Decoction in promoting the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients after radical resection of colorectal cancer, and to provide a clinical trial basis for the study of traditional Chinese medicine to promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients after radical resection of colorectal cancer and reduce the symptoms of gastrointestinal dysfunction. Methods Seventy-two patients undergoing radical surgery for colorectal cancer from January 2018 to November 2019 in the Shanxi Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method, including 36 in the study group and 36 in the control group.Control group: ERAS related treatment measures before and after surgery.Research group: On the basis of conventional ERAS treatment, the patients were given modified Liujunzi Decoction.Method of administration: After 12 hours of operation, the patients were given 200 ml of Jiawei Liujunzi Decoction.Take 100 ml each morning and evening on an empty stomach, one dose per day.If a gastric tube needs to be retained during the operation, the decoction is injected into the gastric tube, and the gastric tube is clamped for 1 hour to prevent the drug from flowing out due to the negative pressure suction device. The upper drug is decoctioned by the hospitalized Chinese pharmacy in our hospital.Observe and compare the time of the patient's first anal exhaustion and defecation after operation, and the degree of abdominal distension and abdominal pain on the 1st,3rd and 7th days after the operation.Observe the occurrence of complications such as intestinal fistula and incision infection after operation, detect the experimental index levels of blood routine, liver and kidney function on the 1st,3rd and 7th days and evaluate the overall treatment efficiency, postoperative hospital stay and hospitalization costs. Results The study group lost 2 patients during the test, and the remaining 34 patients completed the study. The control group lost 1 patient, and the remaining 35 patients completed the study.1.There was no significant difference between the two groups of patients in terms of shedding rate, age, gender ratio, previous medical history, surgical method, and operation time(P>0.05);2.Comparison of the first postoperative exhaust and defecation time between the two groups of patients: The first postoperative exhaust time and defecation time of the study group were earlier than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);3.Comparison of grades of abdominal distension and abdominal pain on the 1st,3rd and 7th days after surgery in the two groups: there was no significant difference in the degree oabdominal distension and abdominal pain on the 1st day after the operation in the study group compared with the control group(P> 0.05)The degree of abdominal distension and abdominal pain relief was better than that of the control group on the 3rd and 7th days aftersurgery, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of postoperative complications between the two groups of patients: there was no significant difference in the number of postoperative complications between the twgroups of patients(P>0.05);5.Comparison of laboratory tests of blood routine and liver function on the 1st,3rd,and 7th days of the two groups of patients: comparison of WBC,Hb,ALB,ALT,AST,and Cr levels in the study group with the control group The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);6.Comparison of the overall postoperative evaluation of the two groups of patients: The overall postoperative evaluation of the study group is better than that of the control group, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);7.Comparison of postoperative hospitalization days between the two groups of patients: The postoperative hospitalization days of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Comparison of hospitalization costs between the two groups: the hospitalization cost of thestudy group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)Conclusion 1.Jiawei Liujunzi Decoction can promote early exhaustion and defecation of patients with colorectal cancer after radical operation, reduce abdominal distension and abdominal pain, promote early recovery of gastrointestinal function, and accelerate the recovery process of patients;2.Jiawei Liujunzi Decoction has safety in promoting the early recovery of gastrointestinal function without increasing the incidence of postoperative complications and damage to liver and kidney function.
