The Clinical Observation Of Resuming Gastrointestinal Dysfunction By Jia Wei Hou Pu San Wu Decoction In Colorectal Cancer's Fast Track Surgery

Objective:Fast Track Technology is the most successful in the colorectal cancer surgery. In the process of Fast Track Technology, some patients often been forced to stop Fast Track technology into a traditional treatment because of postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function slowly. This study uses Jiawei Houpu SanWu decoction and warm water in the perioperative period of colorectal cancer Fast Track Technology, in order to explore whether Jiawei Houpu SanWu decoction wether can promote recovery of gastrointestinal function in the the colorectal cancer Fast Track surgery and its value and meaning.Methods:In 2010 to 2011,40 cases with colorectal cancer who using Fast Track Technology in the department of colorectal cancer in Nanjing Hospital of TCM were included. Patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (20 cases) and the control group(20 cases). Besides routine Fast Track Technology, patients in the treatment group must take 50ml of Jiawei Houpu SanWu decoction at 12 hours and 24 hours after surgery,patients must take it in the next two days too. Besides routine Fast Track Technology, Patients in the control group must take 50ml of warm water at 12 hours and 24 hours after surgery, patients must take it in the next two days too. After 72 hours, we measure curative effect of two groups.Results:The time of defecate time, serum stomach secrete element, TCM curative effect score and western medicine curative effect score of the treatment group have significant differences than the control group(p<0.05). But there is no significant differences in the incidence of severe complications and termination cases between two groups.Conclusion:Jiawei Houpu SanWu decoction can promote recovery of gastrointestinal function after the the colorectal cancer surgery, thus it can increase the patients tolerance of Fast Track Technology. Using Jiawei Houpu SanWu decoction can ensure safety and implementation of Fast Track Technology and can reduce postoperative consumption and the time of hospitalization.
