Objective:Investigate the status of operating room nurses'work pressure and work engagement of the third-grade class-A hospital in Changchun,Jilin Province,analyzing the influencing factors,and analyzing the correlation of the operating room nurses work pressure and work engagement.To provide basis for nursing managers to take targeted measures and improve the quality of nursing service in operating room.Methods:The study adopts Convenience Sampling Method,selecting 300 nurses of three third-grade Class-A hospitals in Changchun between June 2019 to October 2019 as the research object.Research tools include:Self designed general information questionnaire of research objects,Chinese Nurses Stressor Scale,Utrecht Work Engagement Scale(UWES-9).Using EpiData3.0 to establish a database,and using SPSS20.0 to analyzing the datas.Statistical methods include:Descriptive analysis,Mann-Whitney U Test,Kruskal-Wallis Test,Spearman's Correlation Analysis.Results:1.The average score of operating room nurses work pressure is 2.00(1.77,2..23),at moderate pressure level.Work pressure each dimension median score from high to low is:Workload and time allocation 2.40(2.00,3.00),Nursing profession and work aspect2.14(1.86,2.43),Patient care aspect1.91(1.73,2.18),Management and relationships1.78(1.44,2.00),Working environment and resources1.67(1.33,2.00).2.Single factor analysis results showed that the score of work pressure among operating room nurses of different age,highest education,level,marital status,working years,appointment mode,working position,monthly average income has statistically significance(P<0.05).3.The average score of operating room nurses work engagement is3.56(2.56,4.78),at moderate investment level.Work engagement each dimension median score from high to low is:vitality3.67(2.67,5.00),dedication3.67(2.67,5.00),attention3.33(2.00,5.00).4.Single factor analysis results showed that the score of work engagement among operating room nurses of different highest education,level,marital status,monthly average income has statistically significance(P<0.05).5.Spearman correlation analysis results showed that each dimension of work pressure and work engagement of operating room nurses is in a significant negative correlation(P<0.05),correlation coefficient r_s is 0.248~0.419.6.Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis results showed that the work environment and resources,Management and relationship are negative predictors of vitality dimension of work engagement of operating room nurses;Workload and time allocation,working environment and resources are negative predictors of dedication dimension of work engagement of operating room nurses;The highest education is positive predictor of attention dimension of work engagement of operating room nurses;Workload and time allocation,working environment and resources are negative predictors of attention dimension of work engagement of operating room nurses.Conclusions:1.The work pressure of operating room nurses in the third-grade class-A hospital in Changchun is at a medium level.Different age,highest education,level,marital status,working years,appointment mode,working position,monthly average income have different degrees of influence on work pressure and its dimensions.2.The work engagement of operating room nurses in the third-grade class-A hospital in Changchun is at a medium level.Different highest education,level,marital status,monthly average income has different degrees of influence on work engagement and its dimensions.3.There was a negative correlation between the dimensions of work pressure and work engagement of operating room nurses.
