The work of operating room nurses has the same general characteristics such as environment sealing, heavy workload, high risks, routine irregular, and are often placed in nervous appearance. Their physical and mental health are cause for concern and attention. There are few researches on the operating room nurses at home and abroad for the degree of fatigue, stress analysis of the source and perception of control. Based on that, this study will examine the relationship among work fatigue, pressure sources and perception of control on operating room nurses.ObjectDescribe the level of operating room nurses work fatigue, job stress, job control sense of the status ; make clear the level of operating room nurses work fatigue, job stress, job control in the general sense of the differences on demographic variables; Analyze the correlation degree of the three variable: work fatigue, pressure sources and perception of control; make a model with pressure source as intermediating variable, and then discuss the relationship between the degree of fatigue of operating room nurses and their perception of control.MethodIn the way of cluster sampling, this research investigated 279 operating room nurses from 4 Grade III-A Hospitals in Changchun. The author adopted fatigue rating scale, nursing job stress scale, perception of control scale to form a questionnaire to collect data. And then we used SPSS 13.0 software for statistical analysis. To examine the Hypothesis, the researcher does inferential statistical analysis, such as t test, ANOVA, Correlation analysis and regress analysis.Result1 Work fatigue DimensionThe total score of work fatigue is statistically significantly different in gender, women were more susceptible to fatigue. With different income, fatigue severity, fatigue results, fatigue response of sleep and rest tired, these three dimensions showed significant differences with P<0.05 significance level. Well with different income level, work fatigue is significantly different. Fatigue severity, environmental specificity, fatigue response of sleep and rest, these three dimensions are significantly different in marital status (P<0.05), according to the average score, it turned out that married nurses were more easily to be fatigue. Also These three dimensions mentioned above are significantly different in levels of education and human relationships (P<0.05). Fatigue severity, fatigue, and environment-specific, the two dimensions are significantly different with different ages. And the statistical difference of fatigue score still existed among different ages.2 Source of stress dimensionIn the case of different income, workload and time allocation, work environment and resource issues, patient care issues, management and interpersonal problems, these four dimensions of pressure sources pass the test significantly different (P<0.05), showing that high income is more susceptible to pressure nurses.Three dimensions of stressors, workload and time allocation, work environment and resource issues, management and interpersonal problems are significantly different on different level of marital status. Nursing profession and work issues, work environment and resource issues, management and interpersonal problems, these three dimensions of pressure sources are significantly different in different level of education. Workload and time allocation, work environment and resource issues, aspects of patient care, management and interpersonal aspects was significantly different in different level of human relationships. And workload and time allocation, work environment and resources, management and interpersonal problems are significantly different on the different level of age statistically. Total score of source of stress are significant different statistically.3 ControlThe total score of perception of control dimension has not pass the significance level examine in terms of different ages. But perception of control was significantly different in marital status and different educational status.4 Correlation analysis and regress analysisThere was a correlation in source of stress dimension, fatigue Dimension and perception of control dimension of operating room nurses.When total score of fatigue as the dependent variable, analysis of the impact of various factors, we found that total score of source of stress and age significantly affected total score of fatigue.ConclusionThe situation of fatigue and pressure faced by operating room nurses need to be resolved. Doctors and nurses are regarded as the main force of the hospital, the attitude of nurses in work and their physical and mental health is of crucial importance for a hospital executing its function.The nurses have to adapt to their work, but supporting and improvement from the hospital government is even more urgent to set up adaptive and effective reward mechanism for nurses which is of great concern to modify their fatigue and pressure. Self-control and self-regulating function make it quite possible for the individual to adapt effectively to the external environment, but this so-called perception of control will diminish if the nurses are exposed to the fatigue and tension in the environment for a long time. Thus, we hope nurses'health in the operating room can be of more concern by this study.
