Study On The Status Quo Of The Empathy Capacity Of The Clinicians In Provincial 3A Classified Hospital Of Shijiazhuang And Analysis Of Its Influential Factors

Objective:Based on the investigation of the status Quo of the empathy capacity of the clinicians in six 3A Classified Hospitals of Shijiazhuang,this paper analyzes the influential factors that affect the empathy capacity of the clinicians,and puts forward the countermeasures to cultivate the empathy capacity of the clinicians,so as to further improve the empathy capacity of the clinicians,and then provides reference for the hospitals and governmental administrative departments to issue and improve relevant policies.Methods:In this paper,the research method literature is extensively used to consult related literature of the status Quo and influencing factors of empathy capability of medical staff,which provides theoretical reference and method basis for this study.Questionnaire method was conducted among clinicians from six 3A Classified Hospitals of Shijiazhuang,including Hebei General Hospital,the First hospital of Hebei Medical University,the Second hospital of Hebei Medical University,the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University,the Fourth hospital of Hebei Medical University,and the Children's Hospital of Hebei Province by convenient sampling.The survey content includes basic information of clinicians and Jefferson Scale of Empathy Health Professional,JSE-HP(Chinese version).The scale includes three dimensions:perspective taking,compassionate care,transpositional thinking.The scale has a high utilization rate all over the world and its reliability and validityhave been fully confirmed.A total of 650 questionnaires were distributed and 646 valid questionnaires were collected with the effective recovery rate at 99.38%.Excel2010 was used to establish the database by double enter,and SPSS24.0 was used to analyze the data.Descriptive statistics is used for the general information of the respondents.Independent t-test or variance analysis was conducted on the clinicians of different gender,age,education,income,etc.The influential factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.The status of empathy capability of clinicians.The average scores of empathy capability of clinicians was(116.10±12.13).The average score of perspective taking dimension was(59.06±6.25).The average score of compassionate care dimension was(45.75±5.92).The average score of transpositional thinking dimension was(11.29±2.20).2.Analysis of influencing factors of empathy capability of clinicians: according to the single factor analysis,gender,age,working years,professional title,position,employment mode,work satisfaction,work environment satisfaction and empathy awareness were statistically significant in empathy capability of clinicians(P<0.05),and through multiple linear regression analysis,gender,employment mode,work satisfaction and empathy awareness were the influencing factors of empathy capability(P<0.05).Employment mode,work satisfaction and empathy awareness were the influencing factors of perspective taking dimension(P<0.05).Gender,position,work satisfaction and empathy awareness were the influencing factors of compassionate care dimension(P<0.05).Work environment satisfaction and empathy awareness were the influencing factors of empathy thinking dimension(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The empathy capability is at a general level or above average and needs to be further improved.2.Gender,employment mode,work satisfaction and empathy awareness are the influencing factors of empathy capability of clinicians.3.Employment mode,work satisfaction and empathy awareness are the influencing factors of perspective taking dimension.Gender,position,work satisfaction and empathy awareness are the influencing factors of compassionate care dimension.Work environment satisfaction and empathy awareness are the influencing factors of empathy thinking dimension.
