ObjectiveTo explore the preoperative nutritional status of patients with gastrointestinal tumor and to analyze the influencing factors of patients' postoperative infection, and to propose targeted prevention and control strategies,in order to provide scientific evidence for effective prevention and control of postoperative infection in patients with gastrointestinal tumor.MethodsCollect and analyze medical records of the patients who underwent gastrointestinal tumor surgery from January 2016 to March 2019 in a Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University, the nutritional screening of patients before surgery was performed using Nutritional Risk Screening 2002(NRS 2002),and the patients were grouped according to the screening results of the patient's nutritional status, patients with NRS2002?3 were included in the nutrition risk group and patients with NRS2002<3 were included in the non-nutrition risk group, the differences between the two groups were compared in general nutritional observation indicators and postoperative infection;for postoperative infection, the factors such as gender, age, preoperative albumin etc were selected for univariate analysis, the significant factors of statistical analysis were screened out,and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was further used,to determine the risk factors of postoperative infection in patients with gastrointestinal tumor, and the strategies for prevention and control of infection were proposed.ResultsA total of 271 patients with gastrointestinal tumor surgery were collected,121 patients(44.6%)with NRS 2002 ?3 points,150 patients(55.4%)with NRS 2002<3 points, there were statistically significant differences in age, tumor location, total protein level, albumin level, hemoglobin level, lymphocyte level between the nutrition risk group and the non-nutrition risk group(P<0.05).The total number of postoperative infections in patients with gastrointestinal tumor was 55,and the total infection rate was 20.3%,there were 33 and 22 patients with postoperative infection in the nutrition risk group and the non-nutrition risk group, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The univariate analysis of postoperative infection showed that therisk factors of postoperative infection were related to NRS2002,drinking,surgery duration and admission to ICU;the results of Logistic regression analysis showed that NRS 2002?3 points(P=0.012),drinking(P=0.007),surgery duration?6 hours(P=0.007)were the high risk factors of postoperative infection in patients.Conclusion1.Preoperative nutritional risk is common in patients with gastrointestinal tumor, there are differences between the nutrition risk group and the non-nutrition risk group in age, tumor location, hemoglobin level, lymphocytes level, total protein level and albumin level.2.The incidence of postoperative infection in patients with gastrointestinal tumor is high,NRS 2002?3points,drinking and surgery duration?6h are the high risk factors of postoperative infection in patients with gastrointestinal tumor.3.The gastrointestinal tumor patients with high risk factors of postoperative infection should be closely monitored and scientific prevention and control strategies should be adopted.
