A Case Study On The Rehabilitation Of Elderly Stroke Patients From The Perspective Of Positive Psychology

With the development of social work in China,its work area and scope are constantly expanding,and the work content is gradually enriched.Medical social work is also in a rapid development stage.Under the new medical model of biology-psychology-society,hospitals at all levels pay more and more attention to the service content of medical social work.On the one hand,the theoretical research on medical social work is constantly enriched.on the other hand,the practical research on medical social work is also constantly developing.Positive psychology theories focus on the positive side of people and combine it with the practice of social work,It not only adapts to the development of positive psychology,but also provides ideas for the expansion and practice of social work theory.This paper reviews the research on medical social work,positive psychology and stroke rehabilitation.On this basis,this paper analyzes the rehabilitation needs and current situation of elderly stroke patients.Finally,it summarizes the practice of medical social work involved in elderly stroke patients and makes reflections and suggestions.It was found that using the relevant theories of positive psychology to intervene in rehabilitation of elderly stroke patients can maximize the patient's own advantages and transform the patient's rehabilitation status from the inside out in the rehabilitation.
