Social Work Intervention Conflict Doctor-Patient Relationship

Since the reform and opening up, China's medical health system development has made brilliant achievements, but also face some negative effects, the doctor-patient relationship conflict become the medical field is currently a hot topic. When medical social work intervention patient relationship conflicts, to address the following issues: the rights of unequal resources among both doctors and patients, between the interests of the game resources among both doctors and patients as well as doctors and patients both emotionally diaphragm conflict. In this paper, to study the experiences of other scholars, based on the use of three common methods of social work involved in doctor-patient relationship conflict substantive research.In this paper, the theory of empowerment, communication theory and crisis intervention theory as a guide, to carry out medical social work in Wuhan P hospital internship, mainly to solve the doctor-patient relationship conflict. This article will be divided into three periods of conflict between doctors and patients: one serving the exploration period, the main contradiction is opaque phase caused by the medical policy, within this period the author entering the hospital, community work method adopted universal access to information, and to promote its own social, pave the way for the follow-up services; the second is the development of services, the principal contradiction at this stage is biased between doctors and patients both sides, the author uses group work methods, use group dynamics to increase mutual understanding and promote harmonious doctor-patient relationship; Third, service upgrade of this phase is the main contradiction highlights the conflict doctor-patient relationship, the author casework intervention methods typical case, to promote reconciliation patient relationship conflict. In this paper, at different stages, namely the use of a method of social work intervention, not to say that this method can only use the service, but follow the author to carry out service work at the hospital and the actual degree of difficulty to carry out the order, show the social worker ideas and design process actually carried out service work, and no direct reference elsewhere intervention strategies and models.The main conclusions are: community work helps to build a good professional relationship service exploration period, group work helps in the development of services and improving patient relationship helps casework services to enhance the promotion of the doctor-patient relationship conflict reconciliation. However, due to social work can not cope with the conflict between doctors and patients on the back of the complex structural causes, the effect of their own shortcomings and knowledge service presence in medical knowledge weak sustainability, social conflict between doctors and patients involved in the work of this article exist deficiencies. However, this paper enriches the substantive case-patient conflict areas, for other social reference.
