Objective:By observing the curative effect of biofeedback combined with electrical stimulation on postpartum stress urinary incontinence, the aim is to provide effective integrated Chinese and western medicine treatment for postpartum stress urinary incontinence. Methods:From January 2019 to December 2019,the subjects of the study were lying-in women who were diagnosed with mild or moderate stress urinary incontinence and TCM syndrome differentiation as syndrome of deficiency of QI for 42 days postpartum,at the People's Hospital affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Total inclusion of 60 cases.According tothe degree of urinary incontinence,60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group by stratified random grouping. There were 30 cases in each group.Patients in both groups were treated with biofeedback electrical stimulation, once every three days, each time 20 minutes,10 times for a course of treatment, treatment by rehabilitation therapists at the Pelvic floor Medical Centre.Treatment group on the basis of biofeedback electric stimulation treatment plus moxibustion Qi Hai,Guan Yuan and Zhongji, moxibustion at each acupoint for 5-7 minutes,20 minutes each time, once every other day,15 times as a course of treatment, treatment by acupuncturist.Because of the patient's personal reason, each group fell off one case during treatment. At the end of one course of treatment, the changes of TCM syndrome score,ICI-Q-SF score, pelvic floor muscle strength and levator hiatus area of the two groups were observed and the clinical effect was evaluated.Results:1.The Evaluation of curative effect of Traditional Chinese Medical syndromesAfter treatment, both groups had significantly lower TCM syndromes scores than before treatment(P<0.05),the total effective rate of treatment group was 100%,that of control group was 86.21%,and that of treatment group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.ICI-Q-SF scoreAfter treatment, the ICI-Q-SF scores of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).The decrease of ICI-Q-SF score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Pelvic floor muscle strengthAfter treatment, both groups had improved muscle strength of pelvic floor I and II muscle fibers compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).Grade I muscle strength of pelvic floor muscle fibers was better than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the grade of muscle strength of pelvic floor class II muscle fibers showed no significant difference(P>0.05).4.Levator hiatus areaAfter treatment, the levator hiatus area decreased compared with that before treatment during the Valsalva maneuver the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the levator hiatus area decreased during the Valsalva maneuversignificantly(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy evaluationThe cure rate of patients in the treatment group was 48.28%,the effective rate was48.28%,the ineffective rate was 3.44%,the cure rate of patients in the control group was24.14%,the effective rate was 65.52%,the ineffective rate was 10.34%,effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both biofeedback stimulation and moxibustion combined with biofeedback stimulation were effective in the treatment of postpartum stress urinary incontinence. But moxibustion combined with biofeedback stimulation was more effective in improving TCM syndromes and clinical symptoms, improving muscle strength of type I muscle fibers in pelvic floor, reducing the area of anal levator muscle fissure and increasing the amount of daily treatment.
