ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of the two types pcos patients by comparing the physical distribution characteristics, sex hormones and insulin levels of obese and non-obese pcos patients in traditional Chinese medicine,in order to provide objective basis for clinical understanding and treatment pcos.MethodFirst of all, according to the purpose of the study to formulate relevant standards, the general situation of patients questionnaire,TCM physique questionnaire, collecting pcos patients who met the criteria of diagnosis and inclusion in gynecological outpatient clinic and professor Wu Keming outpatient clinic of affiliated hospital of chengdu university of traditional chinese medicine, divideding into obesity group and non-obesity group, questionnaire survey, collect relevant data, and set up a special database, using spss25.0 statistical software to two groups of patients general data,TCM physique and other data processing and analysis.Results(1)A total of 120 pcos patients were collected in this study,60 in obesity group and 60 in non-obesity group.difference in the distribution of physique between the two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05).The frequency of constitution appearance in obese group was from high to low: phlegm and dampness(25.00%)?peace(18.33%)? dampness and heat(13.33%)? qi stagnation(13.33%)? yang deficiency(10.00%)?qi deficiency(6.66%)? yin deficiency(6.66%)? blood stasis(3.33%)? blood quality(3.33%).The frequency of physical appearance of non-obese group was from high to low: peaceful quality 15 cases(25.00%)?damp-heat quality10 cases(16.66%)?qi stagnation 10 cases(16.66%)?yang deficiency 7 cases(11.66%)?phlegm dampness 6 cases(10.00%)? yin deficiency 5 cases(8.33%)?blood stasis 4cases(6.66%)?qi deficiency 2 cases(3.33%)?intrinsic quality 1 case(1.66%).(2)Among 120 patients,18 were hairy and 57 were acne.In obesity group,10 cases were hairy, with an average score of 3.00 ± 2.28;in non obesity group,8 cases were hairy, with an average score of 2.85 ± 2.28.There were 24 cases of acne in obesity group, with an average score of 1.61 ± 0.73;33 cases of acne in non obesity group, with an average score of 1.33 ± 0.48.There was no significant difference in acne ?hairy distribution and hairy score between the two groups(P > 0.05).The difference of acne score between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05)(3)There were 97 hyperinsulinemia,62 hyperandrogenemia and 48 hyperinsulinemia in 120 patients. The distribution of hyperinsulinemia in the two groups was significantly different from that in the four periods(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).(4)The difference of LH?LH/FSH level between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in FSH?T?FT level between the two groups(p>0.05).(5)There was no significant difference in age, menarche age, course of menstrual disorder, sleeping habits, eating habits, exercise habits between the two groups(P >0.05).ConclusionAccording to the clinical data analysis of 120 PCOS patients in this study, the following preliminary conclusions are obtained:(1)There are 9 kinds of TCM constitution in pcos patients, which are prone to moderate quality, phlegm and dampness, dampness and heat, and qi stagnation.Non-obese patients are prone to phlegm and dampness,non-obese patients are prone to peace.(2)The levels of LH and LH / FSH in obese patients were lower than those in non obese patients.(3)The probability and degree of insulin resistance in obese PCOS were higher than those in non obese PCOS.(4)The severity of acne in obese PCOS was higher than that in non obese PCOS.
