Objective Schizophrenia is a group of serious psychiatric diseases of unknown etiology.Clinical symptoms involve various aspects such as perception, memory, thinking, emotion, and will behavior. It has the characteristics of chronic disease progression and repeated symptoms. Therefore, the treatment effect of this type of disease And long-term prognosis is not ideal.Modified electric convulsive therapy(MECT)is a widely used physical therapy method worldwide, and it is often effective for patients with schizophrenia in the acute phase and with poor medical treatment. In this experiment,we explored the relationship between awakening time of patients with schizophrenia undergoing modified electric convulsive therapy and the reduction rate of PANSS scale(positive and negative symptom scale)and BPRS scale(brief psychiatric rating scale)Whether the awakening time is related to the curative effect,so as to better serve the personalized clinical treatment. Methods Among the inpatients in the Third Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, patients with schizophrenia who met the international disease classification(International Classification of Diseases,ICD-10)diagnostic criteria were enrolled.A total of39 patients were enrolled, and then basic information of the patients was collected.Gender, age, weight, education, medications taken during treatment, etc. All patients were enrolled in a course(10 times)of modified electroshock therapy, and data such as the amount of anesthetic used, the energy of the electroshock, and the wake-up time of each MECT treatment were recorded.A psychiatrist is selected for the follow-up evaluation process of the PANSS and BPRS scales. The scale evaluation time is:before the first modified electric shock treatment, after the first electric shock treatment, after the third electric shock treatment, and after After 8 electrical shock treatments. The general information, awakening time, scale scores, medications and doses taken during treatment were sorted out and SPSS 22.0 statistical analysis software was used to further summarize and integrate the experimental data.Determine the factors related to the awakening time after the modified electric shock treatment, whether the awakening time has a predictive effect on the effect, and with theincrease of the number of treatments, whether the prediction conclusion of the awakening time on the effect is the same as before.Result 1.The age, weight, education level, anesthesia dosage, electric shock energy, and converted dose of schizophrenic patients were not related to the time of awakening(p>0.05).2.The relationship between awakening time and PANSS scale reduction rate(%): The first electric shock awakening time has no correlation with the PANSS scale reduction rate(%)after the first electrical shock(p>0.05);The average awakening time of the first three electric shocks and the average awakening time of the first eight electric shocks were correlated with the PANSS scale reduction rate(%)(p<0.05).3.The relationship between the time of awakening and the reduction rate of BPRS scale(%): The time of first awakening is not related to the rate of reduction of BPRS scale(%)after the first electrical shock(p>0.05),The average awakening time of the first three electric shocks and the average awakening time of the first eight electric shocks were correlated with the BPRS scale reduction rate(%)(p<0.05).Conclusion 1.Improved electrical shock is effective in the treatment of schizophrenic patients 2.Awake time after MECT treatment is not related to age, weight, education, anesthetic use, electrical shock energy, and dose 3.There is no correlation between the awakening time and the efficacy after the first MECT treatment. After the third and eighth MECT treatments, there was a correlation between the average awakening time and the efficacy. The longer the awakening time, the better the effect.
