Objective This article explores the cognitive level of schizophrenia,the relationship between awakening time and cognitive function after MECT(Modified Electric Convulsive Treatment)treatment,and the influence of MECT on cognitive function and its specific factors.Through the above research,we hope to pave the way for personalized and refined treatment in the future,and develop an individualized model that is more beneficial to treatment and can reduce related side effects.Methods A total of 43 patients with schizophrenia(in accordance with the International Classification of Diseases ICD-10)were collected from the inpatient department of the Inner Mongolia Mental Health Center for general collection including name,gender,age,cultural level,medication status,and weight.Perform 10 MECT treatments and measure the time of awakening,After the guidance and training of the psychologist,the scale is assessed.The evaluation time was: before the MECT treatment,after the third treatment and after 10 treatments,The dosage form is Mo CA(Montreal Cognitive Assessment).The general information,the awakening time,the scale score and the scores of each factor were recorded and the relevant experimental data were processed and compared with the SPSS19.0 software.The effects of the treatment on the overall and specific aspects of the cognitive level were observed.Whether this effect changes with the number of treatments,whether the cognitive level is related to the time of awakening,and which factors are related to it.Result After statistical analysis,the cognitive function of patients with schizophrenia was generally lower than the normal level,and the score of the scale was(20.907±3.766).After statistical analysis,there was no correlation between education level,weight,age and awakening time,and there was no statistical difference(p>0.05).After the third MECT treatment,the patient was positively correlated with the post-MECT wakefulness time in terms of visual space and executive function,attention,ion,delayed recall,orientation and total score,including visual space and executive function,delayed recall,orientation,Attention,abstraction,and total scores were highly correlated,and there were statistically significant differences(p<0.01);there was no statistically significant correlation between naming and language(p>0.05).After the tenth MECT treatment,there was a positive correlation between visual space and executive function,attention,delayed recall,orientation and total score,and there was a high correlation between visual space and awakening time after MECT.There were significant differences in statistics(p<0.01).In terms of nomenclature,language and abstraction,there is no statistical correlation(p>0.05).The visual space and executive function,attention,language,abstraction,delayed recall and total score in the Montreal Cognitive rating scale before and after treatment were lower than those of the corresponding factors and total scores before and after treatment.There were statistical differences in language and total score before and after treatment(p<0.05).However,there was no statistical significance in visual space and executive function,naming,abstraction,delayed recall and orientation(p >0.05).Visual space and executive function,nomenclature,attention,language,abstraction,delayed recall,orientation and total score in the Montreal Cognitive rating scale after the third MECT and the tenth MECT treatment.All of them were lower than the mean of the corresponding factors and total scores after the tenth treatment,and there were statistical differences in attention,language,abstract and total scores between the two treatments(p<0.05).There was no statistical difference between visual space and executive function,naming,delayed recall and orientation(p>0.05).Conclusion1.Schizophrenia may have cognitive impairment.2.Awakening time is not affected by age,weight or educational level.3.The longer the awakening time lead to the better the cognitive recovery.The longer the awakening time in short-term treatment lead to the better point in the visual spatial execution ability,attention,delayed recall,abstract generalization ability and directional power recovery.The longer the duration of awakening after a course of treatment lead to the better point in visual spatial execution,attention,delayed recall,and orientation recovery.4.The cognitive impairment was obvious at the beginning of MECT treatment,and the influence on cognitive level was recovered at the later stage.Short-term impact on attention and language,late attention,language and abstract generalization of the ability to recover.
