Objective:This study is based on the theory of "Ethyl decyl homologous and liver and kidney treatment".The modified prescription "Liuwei Dihuang Decoction plus flavor" combined with acupoint embedding is used to treat hepatorenal deficiency alopecia areata. The clinical efficacy, safety and recurrence rate of this regimen are studied.Feasibility and practicability, providing new ideas and treatment methods for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:This study collected 72 patients with alopecia areata(diaphragmatic liver and kidney deficiency type)who met the inclusion criteria and visited the dermatology clinic and ward of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine)from 2018.06 to 2019.04.Divided into 36 cases in the treatment group and 36 cases in the control group(Note: the sample size of each group is 30 people, plus 20% shedding number is 36 people). The conventional western medicine "composite glycyrrhizin capsules" combined with local closure of the skin lesions was given as a course every 4 weeks. After 12 weeks of treatment(3 courses),the symptom scores, hair growth, and condition of the two groups of patients were statistically compared.Other accompanying symptoms.Within 6 months after the end of the treatment course, the patients who were treated effectively and recovered were followed up to observe the recurrence rate of the patients in the two groups.result:Six patients fell off during the treatment, and 66 patients eventually participated in the project. The research results showed that 34 patients in the treatment group,5 patients were cured(14.71%),15 patients were effective(44.12%),10 patients were effective(29.41%),and were ineffective.4 cases(11.76%)with a total effective rate of 88.24%;32 cases in the control group,4 cases(12.5%)recovered,10 cases(31.25%)markedly effective,13 cases(40.63%)effective,and 5 cases(15.63%)ineffective,The total effective rate is 84.38%.(1)Efficacy analysis: The total effective rate in the treatment group was 88.24%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 84.38%.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups after treatment(P> 0.05),indicating the overall efficacy of the treatment group and the control group.Equivalent;the cure rate in the treatment group was 58.82%,and the cure rate in the control group was 43.75%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P = 0.006 <0.05).(2)Analysis of the efficacy indicators:(1)The number of skin lesions improved in the two groups In terms of comparison, the difference was not statistically significant(P <0.05);(2)The differences between the two groups were statistically significant in improving symptoms and signs of TCM,as well as reducing the recurrence rate and reducing the recurrence rate(P <0.05).(3)Safety analysis: There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups. The incidences of adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group were 5.88% and 9.38%,respectively.(4)Analysis of recurrence: After the treatment was completed, the clinically cured and markedly effective cases were followed up for 6 months. The recurrence rates of the treatment group and the control group were 5% and 35.71%,respectively.Conclusion: "Liuwei Dihuang Decoction plus flavor" combined with acupoint-embedding in treating alopecia areata with liver and kidney deficiency is more effective than compound glycyrrhizin capsules combined with local closure therapy on skin lesions. It is better than the control group and has no obvious side effects and is feasible.
