Clinical Study On The Improvement Of Sleep Of Refractory Sudden Deafness With Insomnia By Acupuncture At Shaoyang Acupoint

Objecti ve:Through the clinical research on the improvement of sleep of refractory sudden deafness with insomnia by acupuncture at shaoyang jingacupoint,this paper explores the treatment method of refractory sudden deafness with insomnia,and further improves the quality of life of refractory sudden deafness with insomnia.Methods:60 cases of refractory sudden deafness with insomnia were selected from the otolaryngology department of our hospital,and were randomly divided into deep acupuncture group(deep acupuncture+Chinese medicine group),shallow acupuncture group(shallow acupuncture+Chinese medicine group)and Chinese medicine group.In the TCM group,thetreatment principles were activating blood and removing blood stasis,clearing phlegm and opening orifection,smoothing liver potential Yang,and benefiting qi and raising qing.The TCM decoction was taken orally and boiled in our hospital three times a day,about 150ml each time.The deep acupuncture group and the shallow acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine.Bilateral wind pool,head needle halo listening area,three Yin jiao,sea,sleep and four god cong.One time a day,each time for 30 minutes,in which the deep acupuncture group is in the ear,hearing palace,listening to the deep acupuncture,the rest of the points routine acupuncture.All subjects received treatment on weekdays and weekends,and received a total of 30 treatments.Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI),tinnitus rating scale(TEQ),anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)and pure tone audiometry were completed before and after enrollment.After the completion of all the treatment courses,all the data were statistically collected to establish a database,and then all the data were statistically analyzed by SPSS software.According to the results of the analysis,the curative effects of deep puncture,shallow puncture and traditional Chinese medicine treatment were compared.Results:a total of 60 subjects were included in the study,which were randomly divided into deep puncture group,shallow puncture group and traditional Chinese medicine group,with 20 cases in each group.1.There was no statistically significant difference between the three groups in terms of disease course,sex and age(P>0.05).2.The Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI),pure tone hearing threshold and anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)scores before and after treatment between the three groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).3.Comparison of Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI)score,tinnitus rating scale(TEQ)score and pure tone hearing threshold result score before and after treatment in the deep thorn group showed statistically significant differences(P?0.01),while comparison of anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)score showed statistically significant differences(P?0.05).4.Comparison and analysis of Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI)score,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score and pure tone auditory threshold score before and after treatment in the superficial acupuncture group showed statistically significant differences(P?0.01),while comparison and analysis of tinnitus rating scale(TEQ)score showed statistically significant differences(P?0.05).5.The Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale(PSQI)and pure tone auditory threshold score before and after treatment in the traditional Chinese medicine group were statistically significant(p?0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the score of tinnitus rating scale(TEQ)and the score of anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)(P?0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture has a significant effect on improving the sleep quality of refractory sudden deafness patients with insomnia,and the total effective rate of deep acupuncture is higher than that of shallow acupuncture on the improvement of the sleep quality and tinnitus symptoms of refractory sudden deafness patients with insomnia.
