Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Urinary Incontinence In Alzheimer's Disease By Acupuncture Based On Governor Vessel Theory

Objective:Under the guidance of the theory of Governor vessel,t his paper discusses the methods to improve the symptoms of urinary in continence in patients with Alzheimer's disease,so as to improve the q uality of life of patients and reduce the burden of caregivers.Methods:62 AD patients with urinary incontinence who in line wi th the receiving and discharging standards were generated by Excel wit h 62 random numbers.In combination with the envelope numbering met hod,numbers were taken in the order of admission.Odd-numbered patie nts were included in the clinical observation group,and even-numbered patients were included in the routine acupuncture group.Two groups of patients take the same basic treatment for cognitive impairment under the guidance of the theory of Governor Vessel.Patients in the clinical observation group received electro acupuncture at lumbago and sacral acu points,and those in the conventional acupuncture group received electro acupuncture at lower abdominal acupoints,30min at a time,once a day,and one day of rest after continuous treatment for 6 days was a cours e of treatment for 3 courses.Before and after treatment,patients in the two groups were evaluated with the dementia efficacy evaluation form to evaluate AD,ICIQ-SF urine leakage integral reduction rate to evalua te urinary incontinence,CDR scale and Barthel index to evaluate the b urden of caregivers.The evaluation results were analyzed and processed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results:1.Comparison of dementia efficacy evaluation table,CDR,Barthel a nd ICIQ-SF scores before and after treatment in the two groups were al 1 P<0.01,and both groups were effective in the treatment of AD urinar y incontinence.2.After one course of treatment,the recovery rate of urinary incont inence in the clinical observation group was significantly higher than th at in the conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05),so the treatment in t he clinical observation group had a faster effect than that in the conve ntional acupuncture group.3.The total effective rate of the two groups after three courses of treatment was P>0.05,and the difference in the effective rate after three courses of treatment was not significant,but the score of urine leakage and the integral reduction rate of urine leakage times in the clinical observation group were better than that of the conventional acupuncture group.Conclusion:The basic treatment based on the theory of Governor vessel can improve the dementia of AD patients,and the treatment of routine acupuncture group and clinical observation group can significantly improve the symptoms of urinary incontinence in AD patients.Under the guidance of the theory of Governor Vessel,the improvement of urinary incontinence of lumbar and sacral acupoints by electro acupuncture was better than that of lower abdominal acupoints by conventional electro acupuncture,and the effect was faster.The self-care ability of patients was partially improved,which reduced the nursing burden of caregivers to some extent.
