Cluster Analysis And Visualization Of Ancient Governor Vessel's Diseases

Objects:Systemically collect and sort out the records of governor vessel's diseases in traditional Chinese medical books,to observe doctors' understanding of governor vessel's diseases from Qin and Han dynasties to the Republic of China;By analyzing the development truth,the understanding changes and the distribution regularity of governor vessel's diseases,the connotation of governor vessel's diseases was recognized;Finally,visualize the main results in a concise and intuitive way.Methods:The fifth edition of "Chinese Medical Code" was used as the database,and the“?”and“?”were used as the keywords.Export the search results,read them one by one,and include records related to the research topic according to the inclusion criteria.Check the original document.(1)Sorting according to chronological order,exploring the fact that how governor vessel's diseases were supplemented and developed.(2)Taking each typical disease as a research target,investigating the explanations and understanding from different doctors of different time.(3)Classifying the symptom of governor vessel's diseases depending on different human body parts,drawing a schematic form to present its distribution regularity.Results:(1)We start from "The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classics" and "Difficult Sutra"and their contents mainly include "spinal reflexed" "chong-shan" "infertility" "hemorrhoids""dysuria" "enuresis" "dry throat" "heavy-head" "malaria" and "spinal reflexed and fainting".(2)Based on this,doctors continued to supplement and expand the contents of governor vessel's diseases,and 61 kinds of different diseases and symptoms were collected,including 19 before the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and 43 during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and 9 during the Republic of China.For example,"stomach ache" "epilepsy" "back pain" "spasm" "diarrhea""sore" "angina" "rhinitis" "nosebleed" "abortion" "amenorrhea" "humpback" "mastitis" "limbs spasm" "limbs numb" "eye swelling and tears" "leg and knee pain" "asthma",etc.(3)The governor vessel's diseases are rich in variety and covers a wide range of subjects,such as Internal medicine,Surgical,Gynecology and Pediatrics.The spasm,sore disease,and back pain are considered to be typical governor vessel's diseases,because they were discussed by doctors in different periods and their theories are relatively complete.Meanwhile,typical diseases also reflect overall understanding process of governor vessel's diseases.(4)Symptoms of governor vessel's diseases are classified into 4 categories,spine and back,head and facial,organs,and limbs,which are shown in 4 diagrams.Conclusion:The main manifestations of ancient governor vessel's diseases are disorders related to areas that governor vessel passes,organs that governor vessel connects,and the function of balancing yang-qi.Significance:We have a more comprehensive understanding of governor vessel's disease.This study may provide inspiration and ideas for exploring the nature of governor vessel,deepening modern research and developing theory of governor vessel's disease,as well as expanding clinical diagnosis and treatment fashions.
