Objective:To investigate the mental health status of junior middle school students'parents in Tianjin,and analyze the related factors.To study the effect of psychological education intervention on the parents,in order to provide suggestions to improve the mental health status of junior middle school students' parents.Method:A total of 11,689 valid samples from Tianjin were recruited and stratified cluster sampling strategy was used from April to June 2016.Self-designed questionnaire was used,including basic information sacle,parts of Symptom Checklist 90 and subjective questions.Then the subjects were divided randomly into two groups.There were five interventions in the study group,and schools chose at least two interventions.(1)Introduce some knowledge of mental health at parents'meetings;(2)write a letter to parents to introduce the knowledge of mental health;(3)distribute propaganda materials on mental health to parents;(4)send mental health knowledge to parents through school newsletters;(5)publicize mental health knowledge through WeChat official accounts.The control group maintained routine school health education.The interventions were conducted from April to December 2016,and the second self-designed questionnaire survey was conducted from January to March 2017.The statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 23.0.Result:The number of baseline survey cases was 11,689,and 11,549 cases were investigated after intervention.The rate of missing follow-up was 1.20%.1.Psychological disorders detection rateThe total detection rate of psychological disorders was 28.30%.The detection rates of interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety abnormalities were 22.64%,15.95%and 9.82%respectively.Interpersonal sensitivity detection rate of male was higher than that of female(?2=9.165,P=0.002),and the detection rate of depression was lower than that of female(?2=14.552,P<0.001).2.The related factors of parents' mental health problemsThe binary logistic regression model showed that 50-age group(OR=1.322,95%CI:1.013-1.725),divorce/widow(OR=1.224,95%CI:1.010-1.482)were the possible risk factors for interpersonal sensitivity.Female(OR=0.894,95%CI:0.815-0.980),high school(OR=0.716,95%Cl:0.595-0.862)and undergraduate(OR=0.521,95%CI:0.419-0.647)were the protective factors for interpersonal sensitivity.Female(OR=1.288,95%CI:1.155-1.435),divorce/widow(OR=1.339,95%CI:1.086-1.652),grandparents(OR=2.589,95%CI:1.322-5.070)and maternal grandparents(OR=2.381,95%CI:1.043-5.436),teachers(OR=1.716,95%CI:1.078-2.731)were the possible risk factors for depression.Education level as junior school(OR=0.812,95%Cl:0.669-0.985),high school(OR=0.575,95%Cl:0.471-0.703),undergraduate(OR=0.466,95%Cl:0.368-0.591)were the possible protective factors for depression.Divorce/widow((OR=1.574,95%CI:1.239-1.999)were the possible risk factors for anxiety.35?age group(OR=0.022,95%CI:0.535-0.952),education level as junior school(OR=0.744,95%Cl:0.595-0.930),high school(OR=0.521,95%CI:0.413-0.657),undergraduate(OR=0.366,95%CI:0.278-0.481),master's degree and above(OR=0.463,95%CI:0.241-0.888),living in the suburbs(OR=0.851,95%CI:0.737-0.984)were the possible protective factors for anxiety.3.The efficacy of psychological education interventionIn study group,the detection rates of interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety were lower than those in the control group(interpersonal sensitivity:?2=6.56,P=0.010;depression:?2=12.379,P<0.001;anxiety:?2=24.933,P<0.001).Psychological disorders detection rate after intervention in study group was lower than before intervention(interpersonal sensitivity:?2=56.083,P<0.001;depression:?2=29.097,P<0.001;anxiety:?2=6.841,P<0.001),in control group was also lower than before(interpinterpersonal sensitivity:?2=46.338,P<0.001;depression:?2=5.361,P=0.021).Conclusion:The total detection rate of psychological disorders in junior middle school students5 parents in Tianjin was 28.30%.The detection rates of interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety were 22.64%,15.95%and 9.82%respectively.Mental health is affected by many factors,and mental health education intervention can improve the mental health of parents.
