Influencing Factors Of Paternal Prenatal Depression:An Analysis Of The Mediating Effect | Posted on:2021-05-07 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:T Y Yi | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2404330611491662 | Subject:Public health | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: The study based on survey data collected from the 2017 National Key R & D Program “Natural Population Cohort Study in Northeast China”.This study is a cross-sectional study.Fathers' prenatal social support and sleep quality were independent variables.Paternal prenatal depression was the dependent variable.Anxiety and self-efficacy were mediators.Describe the status of paternal prenatal depression.To explore the relationship between social support,sleep quality and paternal prenatal depression,and examine the mediating effects of anxiety and selfefficacy among them.Methods: Data of subjects from shengjing hospital of china medical university from September 2019 to January 2020 were collected.Self-filling questionnaires were used to collect basic information,paternal prenatal depression and other information.Input information using RedCap.The data was analyzed using SAS9.4 and AMOS17.0.The statistical methods mainly include chi-square test,Pearson correlation analysis,multiple linear regression analysis.Results: The incidence of paternal prenatal depression was 24.62%.After excluding the influence of control variables,social support was a significant factor influencing the paternal prenatal depression(?=-0.196 p<0.01).After adding self-efficacy and anxiety in the model respectively,the influence of self-efficacy on the paternal prenatal depression was significant(?=-0.220 p<0.001),R2 increased by 0.038;the effect of anxiety on paternal prenatal depression was significant(?=0.529 p<0.001),with R2 increasing by 0.26.After controlling variables were excluded,the effect of sleep quality on paternal prenatal depression was significant(?=0.324 p<0.01).After adding selfefficacy and anxiety in the model respectively,the effect of self-efficacy on paternal prenatal depression was significant(?=-0.219 p<0.001),with a R2 increase of 0.046;anxiety was a significant predictor of paternal prenatal depression(?=0.553 p<0.001),with R2 increasing by 0.248.Conclusion: The incidence of paternal prenatal depression was 24.62%.Self-efficacy showed a partial mediating effect between social support and paternal prenatal depression,and anxiety showed a complete mediating effect between social support and paternal prenatal depression.Self-efficacy showed a partial mediating effect between sleep quality and paternal prenatal depression,and anxiety showed a complete mediating effect between sleep quality and paternal prenatal depression. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Paternal prenatal depression, Social support, Sleep quality, Anxiety, Self-efficacy, Mediating effect | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
