Objective:As a preparatory group of social labor,college students are in the transitional stage of entering the society,and are in the establishment stage of outlook on life and values.With the increase of postgraduate entrance examination and employment pressure,the mental health problems of college students in this important and special group are increasingly concerned by the society.Depression and anxiety,as general negative emotional states,are two main manifestations of college students' mental health problems.It is important to study the depression tendency and anxiety tendency of college students in Liaoning province and to promote their physical and mental health and social development.This study aims at exploring the prevalence of depressive tendency among college students,exploring the relationship between life events and perceived social support and depression tendency and anxiety tendency,to explore the mediating effect of resilience in the relationship between life events and perceived social support and depressive and anxiety tendencies.Construct a theoretical model of life events,perceived social support,and depression and anxiety tendency.Objects and methods:This study randomly selected 6 universities in Liaoning province.Among all 2300 volunteers,2064 were included in this study.The effective response rate of the questionnaire was 89.7%.Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check-list(ASLEC),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)respectively for perception of college students' life events,perceived social support,resilience,depressive tendency,anxiety tendency be measured.Software called EpiData was used for double entry.SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 17.0 were used for statistical analysis.The analytical methods adopted are: descriptive statistics,independent sample t test,variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,hierarchical regression analysis,and structural equation model.Results: In this study,Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check-list,Perceived Social Support Scale,Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale,Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale all showed good reliability and validity.The incidence of depression in Liaoning universities was 70.7%,and the incidence of anxiety was 46.8%.The only children had a significant influence on depressive tendency,gender had a significant influence on anxiety tendency.There was a significant positive correlation between life events and depression and anxiety tendencies,and perceived social support was significantly negatively correlated with depressive and anxiety tendencies.After controlling the demographic variables,life events and perceived social support had a significant impact on the depressive tendency and the anxiety tendency,and the explanatory variation was 29.0% and 29.9%,respectively.After introducing resilience variables,the variation of interpretation increased by 9.5% and 11.1% respectively.In the relationship between life events,perceived social support and depression tendency and anxiety tendency,the resilience has a mediating effect,and the structural equation model verifies the result.Conclusion: The ASLEC,PSSS,CD-RISC,CES-D and SAS in this study were applicable to the life events of college students,and the perceived social support,resilience,depressive tendency and anxiety tendency.The incidence of depressive tendency among college students in Liaoning province was higher.The life events and the perceived social support of college students have a direct predictive effect on depression tendency and anxiety tendency.The resilience of college students played an mediating role in the relationship between life events,perceived social support and depression tendency and anxiety tendency.
