Objective: To observe the clinical effect of electronic twister combined with penetrating puncture in lexor spasms of the upper limb after stroke.Methods: Sixty patients with lexor spasms of the upper limb after stroke were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 30 cases in each group.When it comes to the therapeutic acupuncture points,we selected Baihui(GV20),the 2/5 in the contralateral motion zone of the affected limb as scalp acupoint.We chose Jianyu(LI15),Binao(LI14);Quchi(LI11),Shousanli(LI10);Hegu(LI4),Houxi(SI3),Sanjian(LI13)of the affected limb as body acupoint.The control group was treated with pure penetrating puncture,while the treatment group was treated with electronic twister combined with penetrating puncture.After 14 days of treatment,we observed the changes in Ashworth Spasticity Scale Score(MAS)and Fugl-Meyer Score(FMA)as well as the Barthel Index Score(BI)before and after treatment in the two groups,then calculated and compared the clinical effects of the two groups.Result : 1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,Brunnstrom score,MAS classification,primary disease,and upper limb spasticity between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The intra-group comparison indicates,there was no significant difference in the scores in MAS,FMA and BI in the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05),while after the treatment,there was extremely significant(P<0.01).In addition,the comparison between two group indicates the MAS,FMA as well as BI in the two groups after treatment were significantly different(P<0.05)3.The total effective rate of the treatment group(electronic twister combined with penetrating puncture)was 86.7%,and the control group(pure penetrating puncture)was73.3%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions: 1.Both electronic twister combined with penetrating puncture and pure penetrating puncture can effectively treat lexor spasms of the upper limb after stroke,these treatments are able to reduce muscle tension,improve upper limb function and restore daily life ability in patients with such disease.2.The scores of MAS,FMA and BI show that in assessing patients' elbow elbow jointmuscle tension,upper limb function and daily living ability,electronic twister combined with penetrating puncture is obviously better than penetrating treatment alone.The inference of the mechanism remains to be confirmed by further research.
