Clinical Observation Of Electronic Needle Twister In The Treatment Of Parkinson’s Disease Depression

Objective:Observe the clinical efficacy of electronic needle twister in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease depressionMethod:54 patients with mild to moderate DPD were randomly divided into two groups,27 cases in each group.We chose Baihui(GV20)as well as Ningshen as basic acupoints.The control group was treated with acupuncture alone,and the treatment group was treated with electronic needle twister based on this.The six days were one course of treatment,and a total of two courses are treated.we observed the changes in the HAMD-24 scores and the PDQ-39 scores before and after treatment in the two groups,then calculated and compared the clinical effects of the two groupsResult:1.There were no significant differences in gender,age,duration of PD disease,UPDRSIII scores,duration of depression disease,H-Y classification and anti-PD medications between the two groups(P>0.05)2.The HAMD-24 scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01)The differences of PDQ-39 scores between the two groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.01).Besides,there was a statistically significant difference in the HAMD scores between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the PDQ-39 score between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).3.After the treatment,the total effective rate of the two groups was compared.The total effective rate was 88.89%in the electronic twister group and 74.07%in the acupuncture group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with an electronic needle twister and acupuncture alone can effectively treat depression in Parkinson’s disease,which is conducive to the recovery of depression and the improvement of the quality of daily life in patients with Parkinson’s disease2.In the HAMD-24 and PDQ-39 scales to assess patients’ depressive symptoms and living activities,the electronic needle twister treatment is obviously better than the simple acupuncture treatment.Among them,the electronic needle twister device controls the twisting frequency and twisting time,so that the disease can obtain a stable and continuous effective stimulation amount.The specific mechanism of action is yet to be determined Further research confirmed.
