Clinical Observation On Acupuncture Treatment Of Postherpetic Neuralgia Based On The Theory Of "Regulating The Spirit"

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture on postherpetic neuralgia based on the theory of "regulating the spirit",and to provide a new way for clinical acupuncture on postherpetic neuralgia.Methods:In this study,60 patients with postherpetic neuralgia were enrolled.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 in the control group and30 in the treat In this study,60 patients with postherpetic neuralgia were enrolled.The patients were randomly divided into two groups,30 in the control group and 30 in the treatment group.In the course of the experiment,1 case in the treatment group fell off,29 cases actually completed;2 cases in the control group fell off,28 cases actually completed.In the control group,routine acupuncture was used,and Jiaji point and local Ashi point were selected;Jiaji point was inserted obliquely along the direction of spine,and then connected with electroacupuncture after twirling to get Qi;Ashi point was treated with local encircling according to the size of pain site,and the above operations were all kept for 30 minutes.In the treatment group,on the basis of the treatment of the control group and based on the theory of "regulating the spirit",Baihui,shenting,Benshen(both sides),Neiguan(both sides)and Shenmen(both sides)points were selected,in which Baihui Point was stabbed backward,shenting and Benshen point were stabbed upward and downward along the meridians,respectively,and the needles were twirled after getting Qi,the frequency was about 200 times/min,twirling for 2min,and then twirling again for 30 min Turn,Neiguan and Shenmen acupoints stab directly into the needle,and start the needle after the operation is completed.Two groups were treated once a day,6 times a week,a total of 4 weeks.Visual analogue scale(VAS),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)were used to observe and evaluate the changes of pain and anxiety and depression of patients before treatment,2 weeks aftertreatment,4 weeks after treatment,1 month after treatment and 3 months after treatment.The effective rate of the two groups after treatment was evaluated by the standard of curative effect of disease diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine.Results:1.There was no significant difference in VAS score,HAMA score and HAMD score between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).2.After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment,compared with before treatment,the VAS score,HAMA score and HAMD score of the two groups were decreased,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the scores of the treatment group after 2 weeks and 4 weeks were better than those of the control group.3.The vas,HAMA and HAMD scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group at the end of January and March after the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the long-term effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.After the treatment,9 cases were cured,14 cases were effective,5cases were effective,1 case was ineffective,the total effective rate was96.55%,the cure rate was 31.03%;3 cases were cured,7 cases were effective,13 cases were effective,5 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was82.14%,the cure rate was 10.71%.The total effective rate and cure rate of the treatment group were better than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant after rank sum test(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Based on the theory of "regulating spirit",acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture and simple application of conventional acupuncture are effective in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia,and the effect of the combined group is better than that of the conventional acupuncture group.2.Based on the theory of "regulating spirit",acupuncture combined with conventional acupuncture can effectively reduce pain and relieve anxiety and depression,and the combined group has a better long-term effect than the conventional acupuncture group,which is worthy of clinical application.
