Objective: By retrospectively analyzing the clinical characteristics of 1146 patients with urinary calculi in Huaihua area, including the sex, age, calculus site, and composition of calculi, the compositional characteristics and epidemiological characteristics of urinary calculi in this area were initially obtained Guidance recommendations are provided for the prevention and treatment of urinary stones in the region. Methods:A total of 1146 specimens of urinary stones from the Department of Urology of the First People's Hospital of Huaihua City from May 2018 to February2020 were collected, and the chemical composition of the stones was determined by infrared spectroscopy.Through SPSS22.0 software,chi-square test and T test were used for analysis. When P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant. Results: In this study, there were fewer female patients(487 cases)than male patients(659 cases). The ratio of male and female patients was 1.35: 1.40-69 years old was the peak age group of urinary calculi, accounting for 78.27%;among them,50-59 years old The age group has the largest number of patients, accounting for 32.90%.The average age of patients with urinary stones is(53.01 ± 12.38)years old.Among the 1146 cases of urinary calculi, there were 1102 cases of upper urinary tract stones(654 cases of kidney stones, accounting for 57.07%,448 cases of ureteral stones, accounting for 39.09%),44 cases of lower urinary stones(36 cases of bladder stones, accounting for 3.14%,8 cases of urethral stones, accounting for 0.70%);373cases of single-component stones were detected in this study, accounting for 32.55%;single-component stones were mainly anhydrous uric acid, accounting for 11.61%,followed by Calcium oxalate accounted for 9.16%.There were 773 cases of mixed component stones, accounting for 67.45%.Calcium oxalate monohydrate + calcium oxalate dihydrate were the main stones,a total of 404 cases, accounting for 35.94%,followed by calcium oxalate monohydrate + apatite carbonate, accounting for 13.53%.The detection rate of calcium oxalate stones was the highest in 899 cases(78.45%),followed by calcium calcium phosphates, mainly carbonate apatite, and 362 cases(31.59%)and 205 cases of uric acid(17.89%)were detected.Among them,376 cases of infectious stones were detected, accounting for 32.81%,more common among female patients, accounting for 38.60% of the total number of female patients with urinary stones. Conclusion:The 40-69-year-old age group is the peak age group of patients with urinary stones in Huaihua area. There are more male patients than female patients, and there are more upper urinary tract stones than lower urinary tract stones. The urinary stones in Huaihua area have the highest proportion of single uric acid, and the highest proportion of mixed components is calcium oxalate monohydrate + calcium oxalate dihydrate.Calcium oxalate stones are the most common stones in urinary stones.Infectious stones are more common in female patients.According to the compositional characteristics and epidemiological characteristics of urinary calculi in this area, itprovides guidance suggestions for the prevention and treatment of urinary calculi in this area, and has certain clinical and social values.
