Decoction Adjuvant Therapy On Serum IgG Level In Study On The Effect Of Yi Qi Hua Shi Yang Xue Patients With Chronic Brucellosis

Research Background and Purpose:Brucella is a common zoonotic bacteria,which can lead to brucellosis.It not only affects the development of animal husbandry,but also endangers human life and health.This study included patients with chronic brucellosis.Through testing and comparing the clinical therapeutic effects of conventional western medicine treatment and Western medicine combined with Yi Qi Hua Shi Yang Xue Decoction on patients with chronic brucellosis before and after treatment.Improvement of complications,adverse reactions,and detection of serum specificity IgG level changes and degree differences by ELISA,to clarify the treatment effect of Western medicine combined with Yi Qi Hua Shi Yang Xue Decoction treatment on chronic brucellosis,and provide a basis for its clinical use.Methods:A total of 120 patients with chronic brucellosis were enrolled in this study.All patients had a history of contact of affected animals and their clinical symptoms is accorded with the clinical symptoms of the patients with chronic brucellosis.In addition,the RBPT and blood culture of all patients were positive.Patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group.Each group consist of 60 patients.In the control group,patients were treated with conventional antibiotic therapy,while the patients in observation group were treated which conventional antibiotic therapy combined with Yi Qi Hua Shi Yang Xue Decoction.The total course of treatment was six weeks.The level of specificity IgG in the serum was detected by the ELISA before and after the therapy and were statistically analyzed.Results:Before and after treatment,the clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups were reduced in varying degrees.There were significant differences between the observation group and the control group in the improvement of fever,bone and joint pain,muscle pain and hepatosplenomegaly.After treatment,the negative conversion rate of bacterial culture was 81.67%in the observation group and70%in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The RBPT Titer of the observation group decline 50%,the control group decline 41.67%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The effective rate was 100%in the observation group and 96.67%in the control group,but the cure rate was 5%in the control group,which was lower than 10%in the observation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment of 6 weeks,the specificity IgG levels detected by ELISA in serum of the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).Before treatment,the serum specificity IgG levels of the control group and the observation group were(875.53±78.15)ng/ml and(834.29±83.92)ng/ml,respectively.After the treatment of 6 weeks,the specificity IgG in serum of the control group was(313.53±48.15)ng/ml,which is significantly higher than that of the observation group(155.34±41.14)ng/ml(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with chronic Brucella,antibiotics combined with Yi Qi Hua Shi Yang Xue Decoction treatment can significantly reduce the IgG level in serum compared with the single use of antibiotics,which is conducive to the rehabilitation of patients with chronic Brucella and reduce the incidence of complications.The treatment has clinical value,but further large-scale clinical trials are needed.
