Objective: To investigate the changes of IL-9 level in acute and chronic brucellosis patients,In order to provide a new idea for the immunotherapy of brucellosis. Methods:To choose the first affiliated hospital infection in our hospital and shihezi division between August 2017 and October 141 cases of hospital make a diagnosis and give treatment and clinics brucella patients, according to the course of acute group(79 cases)and chronic group(62 cases),30 cases of healthy controls, the detection of acute and chronic groups of IL-9 expression level of brucellosis changes, and summarize the clinical manifestation of brucella patients and laboratory test results, analysis of acute and chronic brucellosis changes of clinical manifestation and laboratory examination. Results: In 141 patients with brucellosis, the expression level of IL-9 was 3.32±3.08pg/mL in the acute phase,5.11±3.41pg/mL in the chronic phase, and 3.04±3.79pg/mL in the healthy control group. There was no significant difference between the acute phase and the healthy control group, but the expression level of IL-9 in the acute phase tended to increase. The most common clinical manifestations of brucella infection in humans are fever, fatigue, muscle and joint pain, and hyperhidrosis.Fever, weakness and muscle and joint pain are the most common symptoms in the acute stage and the chronic stage.Chills and testicular swelling pain are more common in the acute stage, but chills are only seen in the acute stage.Testicular swelling pain can be seen in both the chronic stage and the acute stage.Erythrocyte sedimentation rate and c-reactive protein were increased in both acute and chronic stage, and the increase was more obvious in acute stage. All the patients with positive test tube agglutination were identified as brucella ovum, but the detection rate of blood culture was low. Conclusion: Peripheral IL-9 is significantly increased in patients with brucellosis at acute and chronic stages. There was a difference in the rate of elevation of IL-9 in the acute phase and the chronic phase.IL-9 increased faster in the chronic phase than in the acute phase and in the healthy control group. There was no significant difference between the acute group and the healthy control group, but there was an upward trend.Fever, fatigue, muscle and joint pain and hyperhidrosis are the most common clinical manifestations of brucellosis infection.Fever, fatigue and muscle and joint pain were most common in the acute and chronic phases.Laboratory examination showed that erythrocyte sedimentation rate and c-reactive protein were increased in both the acute and chronic phases, and the increase was more obvious in the acute phase.
