Objective To investigate the quality of life of patients with peripheral vertigo, and to explore the relationship between type D personality, perceived pressure, mindfulness and quality of life,so as to provide theoretical basis for making effective psychological intervention measures to improve the quality of life of patients. Methods Using convenient sampling method,229 peripheral vertigo patients in outpatient and ward of Otorhinolaryngology of a third class a hospital in Shandong Province from May 2019 to December 2019 were selected as the objects of investigation.General data questionnaire,SF-8,DS14,PSS and SIM-C were used to investigate.SPSS 26.0 was used for mathematical statistics, including independent sample t-test,ANOVA analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1.Demographic and disease data of patients with peripheral vertigo229 peripheral vertigo patients, the age range is 16 to 77 years old, with an average age of(52.21 ± 12.98)years old;women(62.0%)are slightly more than men;those with a BMI in the normal range were 50.2%;education level is mainly junior high school and below(55.9%);income and expenditure balance is mostly(56.8%);rural people are slightly more(59.8%);in-service(48.9%)and not in-service(51.1%);32.8%had chronic history. Most of the patients were Meniere's disease and vestibular neuritis(67.7%);80.0%of the patients had a course of less than one year;65.1%of the patients had more than one attacks per month;67.2%of the patients had a first attack;90.8%of the patients were mainly treated with drugs;most of the patients had inducing factors(65.9%)and accompanying symptoms(63.8%).2.Differences in demographic data and disease data of patients with peripheral vertigoPeripheral vertigo patients scored(53.60 ± 20.84)in the physical dimension of quality of life,and(53.17 ± 22.64)in the psychological dimension of quality of life. There were significant differences in age,BMI,education, occupation, economy, residence, chronic medical history, disease diagnosis, course of disease, relapse, treatment and accompanying symptoms(all P<0.05),and in age,BMI,education, occupation, economy, residence and exercise There were statistically significant differences in condition, chronic history, disease diagnosis, course of disease, recurrence, treatment, inducing factors and accompanying symptoms(all P<0.05).3.Correlation of type D personality, perceived stress and mindfulness with qual ity of life in patients with peripheral vertigoThe positive rate of type D personality in patients with peripheral vertigo was 48.5%(NA?10 and S?10);the perceived pressure score was(18.13±6.82);the total score of mindfulness was(37.26 ± 6.58),including the conscious action dimension score(13.40 ± 4.33),describe the dimension score(13.52 ± 4.33),do not judge the dimension score(10.34 ± 2.84).Independent sample t test showed that the difference between type D personality and non-type D personality in all dimensions of quality of life was statistically significant(all P<0.001);Pearson correlation analysis showed that:patients 'quality of life scores and total scores of mindfulness, conscious action Dimension and description Dimension scores are positively correlated(r=0.286?0.557,all P<0.001);scores of quality of life are negatively correlated with perceived stress and non-judgment dimension scores(r=-0.185?-0.562,all P<0.05).4.Multiple linear regression analysis of predictors of quality of life in patients with peripheral vertigo The physical and psychological dimensions of the quality of life of patients with peripheral vertigo were used as dependent variables, and demographic and disease data variables with statistical significance in single factor analysis were included as the control variables in the first layer of the regression equation;the type D personality, perceived pressure, and mindfulness are included as independent variables in the second layer;the centralized sensed pressure × type D personality, conscious action dimension × type D personality, description dimension × type D personality and non-judgment dimension × type D personality On the third level of regression equation, multiple linear stratified regression analysis was performed. In the comprehensive body dimension, the perceived pressure(?=-0.192,P=0.009),the conscious action dimension(?=0.284,P<0.001)and the conscious action dimension in the third layer(?=0.298,P=0.002)The prediction of the body's comprehensive dimension is statistically significant, and the explanation of all variables for the body's comprehensive dimension is 42.6%(R2=0.426).In the psychological comprehensive dimension, the perceived pressure(?=-0.330,P<0.001),the conscious action dimension(?=0.302,P<0.001)and the conscious action dimension in the third layer(?=0.353,P<0.001),Perceived pressure(?=-0.211,P=0.028),perceived pressure x type D personality(?=-0.170,P=0.049),description dimension x type D personality(?=0.204,P=0.046)to predict the psychological comprehensive dimension It is statistically significant, and the explanatory effect of all variables on the prediction of the psychological comprehensive dimension is 51.2%(R2=0.512).To further verify the interaction,a simple slope analysis found that the predictive effect of perceived pressure on the psychological comprehensive dimension is different between type D personality and non-type D personality groups. In non-type D personality groups, the predictive coefficient of perceived pressure ?=0.199,P=0.040;in the type D personality group, the predictive coefficient of perceived pressure ?=-0.509,P<0.001.Conclusions1.The quality of life of patients with peripheral vertigo is at a low level.2.The total score of mindfulness, the dimension of conscious action, the dimension of description and the dimension of quality of life of the patients with peripheral vertigo are positively correlated;the dimension of type D personality, perceived pressure and the dimension of non judgment of mindfulness are negatively correlated with the dimension of quality of life;the dimension of conscious action and perceived pressure of mindfulness can significantly predict the quality of life of the patients with peripheral vertigo.3.There is an interaction between type D personality and perceived stress on quality of life in patients with peripheral vertigo, which provides a theoretical basis for formulating effective psychological intervention measures to improve the quality of life of patients.
