Research objective:Based on functional bladder capacity observation clinical effect of the YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method on the recovery of urinary incontinence and urinary control after radical prostate cancer.Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the "YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method"acupuncture therapy was put forward, and the effect of functional bladder capacity change on the recovery of urinary control function after the operation. To provide a new therapeutic index and a more practical basis for the treatment of lower urinary tract dysfunction by acupuncture.Research methods:Forty patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into the treatment group and the control group, twenty cases each. The treatment group was given the YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method combined with pelvic floor muscle training(PFMT),and the control group was given PFMT.All patients in the group were given the routine treatment for urinary incontinence after radical prostate cancer. The control group was given pelvic floor muscle training in every day,in three months.Three times at a day(in the morning, middle and evening),one month for a course of treatment,a total of three courses of treatments. The patients in the treatment group were treated with the YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method based on the treatment plan, acupuncture treatment one time on the next day, three times a week, one month for a course of treatment,a total of three courses of treatments.Compare the treatment group and the control group, the therapeutic effects were observed using seventy-two hours of urine pads, the ICI-Q-SF Chinese version of the International Urine incontinence questionnaire,I-QOL,TCM evidence points, and functional bladder capacity. All the clinical data were analyzed with SPSS 21.0 statistical software.Results:1.Baseline status:There was no significant difference in age, body weight index, tumor stage and Karnofsky Performance Status between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Pieces of urine pad in seventy-two hours:Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After three courses of treatment, the urine pad used in the treatment group was better than that of the control group in seventy-two hours, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.ICI-Q-SF score:Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After three treatments, the ICI-Q-SF score of the treatment group was less than that of the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.I-QOL score:There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. After three courses of treatment, the I-QOL score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).5.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score:There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)before treatment, which was comparable. After three courses of treatment, the decrease of TCM syndromes score in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Uroflowmetry:There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)before treatment, which was comparable. After three courses of treatment, the decrease of Uroflowmetry in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Functional Bladder Capacity(FBC):There was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable. After three courses of treatment,FBC of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).8.The clinical effect of the two groups:zero cases(0%)were cured in the treatment group, ten cases(50%)were effective and the rate of increase was 50%.The control group recovered zero cases(0%),two cases(10%)were effective and the rate of increase was 10%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.ConclusionCompared with the functional bladder capacity changes, the YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method combined with PFMT and PFMT could improve the symptoms of urinary incontinence after radical prostate cancer. After 3 courses of treatment, the recovery of the urine control function of the YiqiGuyuan acupuncture method combined with PFMT is better than that of PFMT.
