The Implementation Dilemma And Coping Strategies Of Providing For The Aged In The Rural Medical-Nursing Combined Institutional

Aging in our country is now showing a trend of rapid and advanced aging.With the rapid increase in the number of disabled and semi-disabled elderly people,the health and pension problems of the elderly will put forward higher requirements on pension and medical services in our country at the present stage,and the importance of healthy aging is highlighted.As a new form of old-age care that has emerged in recent years,the combination of medical and nursing institutions has been hindered by its implementation in rural areas.Studying its implementation dilemma and coping strategies is not only an important issue in the academic field,but also beneficial to our real life.We will alleviate the burden of old-age care for the majority of rural areas in China and improve the quality of life of rural elderly.This paper takes W town elderly service center in Hengshui City as the research site,through the use of literature,observation and interview methods to study the form of the combination of medical care and nursing in rural elderly care institutions.Firstly,the paper summarizes the relevant process and objectives of the policy of the combination of medical care and nursing,and points out the positioning of the combination of rural medical care and nursing,and then through the observation of the type of elderly who participate in the combination of rural medical care and nursing.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the elderly care service in the service center and the interviews with government staff,institutional managers,medical staff,the elderly and their families,and the villagers nearby,thus,we can find out the problems in the implementation of the "combination of medical care and maintenance" in rural elderly care institutions,and analyze the causes of the problems from three perspectives:the policy of the combination of medical care and maintenance,the supply and demand of medical care resources in rural elderly care institutions,and the survival standard of rural elderly care institutions.Finally,regarding the causes of the dilemma,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from several aspects,such as the policy of combining medical care with nursing care,the resources of medical care in rural old-age care institutions,financial support from rural pension institutions and connection of medical care for the aged.It is found that the current difficulties in the implementation of the elderly care in rural medical and nursing institutions are mainly manifested in the form of "medical and nursing combination",the poor service gradient and referral,and the difficulty in the operation of rural medical and nursing combined elderly care institutions.Through the analysis,the author found that the internal contradictions of the policy itself,the disconnection between the policy and the rural reality,the difficulty of the supply of medical resources of the rural elderly care institutions to meet the needs of the rural elderly,and the survival standard of the rural elderly care institutions are all the important reasons for the weakening effect of the implementation of the"combination of medical and nursing".Based on this,finally,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,such as improving the implementation of the policy,reasonably allocating the medical resources of rural elderly care institutions,strengthening the financial support for rural elderly care institutions and standardizing their medical care connection process.
