Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy of fireblade needle in the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA)of early cold and dampness, and evaluating its effectiveness and safety. Methods: 60 volunteers with early cold dampness RA who voluntarily participated and met the inclusion criteria were averagely divided into observation group and control group by SPSS 17.0 statistical software according to the random number table method,30 cases each. The two groups were based on oral western medicine. The observation group was treated with the acupuncture point of the limb of the affected limb and the local ashi acupuncture point. The control group was treated with acupuncture with acupuncture needles, with local and dialectical acupoints as the mainstay.Course of treatment: The two groups were treated twice a week, and the interval between the two treatments should be more than 24 hours. One week was a course of treatment, and a total of 4 courses of treatment were performed.Evaluation method: Blood tests were performed before and after treatment, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),rheumatoid factor(RF)and C-reactive protein(CRP)were detected and statistically analyzed in two groups.TCM syndromes were evaluated before and after treatment.Quantitative scores and visual analogue scale(VAS)were used to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of subjects.Statistical analysis of relevant data was performed using SPSS17.0 statistical software.Result:1.The general conditions of gender, age, and disease duration of the two groups of subjects before treatment were not statistically significant(P> 0.05),and were comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy: The total effective rate in the observation group was 92.85%,and the control group was 79.31%.The observation group was better than the control group(P <0.05).3.Comparison of quantitative scores of TCM syndromes: There was no significant difference in the quantitative scores of TCM syndromes before treatment between the two groups(P> 0.05);The quantitative scores of TCM syndromes after treatment in the two groups were significantly reduced when compared with those before treatment(P <0.05);Compared with the latter, the quantitative score of TCM syndromes in the observation group decreased more significantly(P <0.05).4.Comparison of pain VAS scores: There was no significant difference in VAS levels between the two groups before treatment(P> 0.05);Compared with before treatment, the levels of VAS after treatment were significantly reduced in the two groups(P <0.05);Comparing the levels of VAS after treatment in the two groups, the observation group the decrease was more significant(P <0.05).5.Comparison of serum ERS,CRP and RF levels: Comparing the levels of ERS,CRP and RF before treatment between the two groups, the differences were not statistically significant(P> 0.05);Before treatment, the levels of ERS,CRP and RF were significantly reduced after treatment between the two groups(P <0.05);After the comparison, the levels of ERS,CRP and RF in the observation group all decreased more significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fire-blade needle can effectively improve joint pain,Result:swelling, poor flexion and extension, morning stiffness and other symptoms and signs in patients with early cold-humidity obstructive RA,and reduce patients' inflammation indicators.
