Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Benign Simple Thyroid Nodule With Huoxue Xiaoying Tablets And Xiaojin Capsule

Research objectives:Clinical observation was conducted to analyze the efficacy and safety of Huoxue Xiaoying tablets combined with Xiaojin capsule in the treatment of thyroid nodules with blood stasis and goittoon type,and the effects on liver function,kidney function and thyroid function were analyzed.Preliminary analysis of the composition and efficacy of Huoxue Xiaoying tablets and Xiaojin capsule,as well as the possible mechanism of the combined treatment of thyroid nodules.Research methods:The patients were selected from the outpatient and ward of HuBei hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from June 2018 to August 2019.The 96 patients who met the diagnostic criteria were divided into 3 groups(group A,group B and group C)according to the region group randomization method.Group A received basic treatment plus Huoxue Xiaoying tablet,group B received basic treatment plus Xiaojin capsule,and group C received basic treatment plus Huoxue Xiaoying tablet plus Xiaojin capsule.Four weeks of treatment,three treatment cycles,Then,the largest diameter of thyroid nodule,TCM syndrome score,thyroid function,liver and kidney function and adverse reactions were observed.Results:(1)The final effective cases were 31 in group A,30 in group B and 30 in group C.(2)After drug treatment,the largest diameter of thyroid nodule in group C was smaller than before(P < 0.05),suggesting that Huoxue Xiaoying tablets combined with Xiaojin capsules can effectively reduce the maximum diameter of thyroid.(3)The effective rate based on color doppler ultrasound was 35.5% in group A,40% in group B,and 66.7% in group C,respectively.The total effective rate based on color doppler ultrasound was higher in the combination group than in the other two groups(allP < 0.05).(4)Among the 91 patients,the nodule with the largest diameter < 1cm had a better therapeutic effect(P < 0.05).(5)The scores of TCM syndromes before and after treatment in groups A,B and C were compared,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the three groups were compared,and the comparison between group C and group A and group B was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the three groups was 71% in group A,66.7% in group B,93.3% in group C,and the effective rate of TCM syndrome in the combination group was higher than that in the other two groups(P < 0.05).Both Huoxue Xiaoying tablet and Xiaojin capsule can be used in patients with clinical symptoms,but the combination of the two is better.(6)There was no statistically significant difference between thyroid function and liver and kidney function before and after treatment(P > : 0.05).Therefore,it could be considered that the combined use of Huoxue Xiaoying capsule and Xiaojin tablet did not affect thyroid function and liver and kidney function.(7)In group B(Xiaojin capsule group),one patient had a few rashes with itchy skin after taking the medicine for 3 days.After drug withdrawal,the rashes subsided spontaneously and the skin itching improved.Xiaojin capsule may have mild adverse reactions,which can be relieved after drug withdrawal.Conclusion:We believe that the combination of Huoxue Xiaoying tablet and Xiaojin capsule in the treatment of benign simple thyroid nodule with blood stasis and cuspidating type can reduce the diameter of the nodule,effectively relieve clinical symptoms,and is relatively safe.
