Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Wenyangtongbian Decoction On Functional Constipation In The Elderly

Objective:To compare the self-made Wenyang Tongbian formula and lactulose oral liquid in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly with Yang deficiency,to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of self-made Wenyang Tongbian formula in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly,and to provide a new diagnosis and treatment idea for the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of functional constipation in the elderly.Methods:In this study,72 patients with functional constipation of Yang deficiency type were selected from the anorectal clinic and treatment area of Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese medicine.They were randomly divided into treatment group(36 cases)and control group(36 cases)Clothing.The control group was treated with lactulose oral solution(Beijing Hanmei Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.,gzh20065730)three times a day,10 ml each time.Two groups were two weeks as a course of treatment,continuous observation of two courses,after the end of treatment statistics and analysis of relevant data,and after the end of treatment 1 month for follow-up,record and analyze the recurrence of patients.Results:1.In the course of the study,two patients in each group fell off,and68 cases were actually completed.2.After treatment,the two groups were compared with each single integral of TCM symptoms: compared within the group,there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P<0.01),and the two groups could effectively improve the symptoms of constipation.There was no significant difference between the two groups P> 0.05)in the improvement of stool characteristics and defecation frequency.There were significant differences in defecation effort,defecation time,feeling of defecation and abdominal distention between the two groups(P<0.05).The improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the treatment group Control group.In terms of secondary symptoms,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05),and the improvement of secondary symptoms in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.3.After treatment,the total score of TCM symptoms in the two groups was compared: there was a significant difference between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P<0.01),both groups could effectively improve the patients' TCM symptoms;between the two groups,there was a statistical difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the treatment group was better than the control group.4.After treatment,the total effective rate of the two groups was 88.24% in thetreatment group and 76.47% in the control group.5.Recurrence rate comparison:one month after the treatment,the recurrence rate of the treatment group was10%,and that of the control group was 34.62%.There was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.Conclusion:Wenyang Tongbian recipe and lactulose can effectively treat the functional constipation of the elderly with Yang deficiency,but in improving the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,Wenyang Tongbian recipe can not only effectively alleviate the main symptoms of patients,but also has more advantages in improving the secondary symptoms of Yang deficiency.Wenyangtongbian decoction has obvious curative effect,low recurrence rate and good safety in the treatment of functional constipation in the elderly of Yang deficiency type,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
