Clinical Study Of Qixiong Granule In The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy (Qi And Blood Stasis Type)

Objective: This study is under the guidance of TCM theory,through to the Changchun niversity of chinese medicine affiliated hospital's Department of Orthopedics diagnosis of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(qi and blood stasis type)and accord with standard of patients included in this study,Qixiong granule and Jingtong granule were used respectively to two ways of treatment on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,to evaluate before and after treatment of cervical vertebra pain degree,cervical activity,and treatment effects of the changes of symptoms and signs,qixiong granules which used to objectively evaluate the safety,efficacy and popularization of this kind of treatment.Methods:Cases patients of this research were from changchun university of Chinese medicine affiliated hospital of the orthopaedic clinic(qi and blood stasis type)on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy patients,according to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,selection of 80 cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(qi and blood stasis type)as the research object,and use the completely random grouping were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,treatment group(40 cases of application of Qixiong granule treatment,control group 40 cases with Jingtong granule treatment,3 times a day,for 1 to 2 weeks treatment,treatment time for two period of treatment.The symptom and function scale of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,visual analogue scale(VAS)and neck range of motion(ROM)were used to evaluate,compare and quantify before and after treatment,and SPSS24.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data.Results: Among the 40 patients in the treatment group,13 were cured,19 were effective,6 were effective and 2 were ineffective,the total effective rate was 95.00%.Among the 40 patients in the control group,8 were cured,13 were effective,12 were effective and 6 were ineffective,with a total effective rate of 85.00%.Compared with the control group,the treatment group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Two groups before and after treatment in patients with symptoms and functional scale,visual analogue scale(VAS score)and the neck of motion(ROM)score:comparison in the group P < 0.05,after statistics analysis,all have significant differences,the two groups after treatment was statistically significant,can effectively reduce the pain of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy index,improve the degree of pain and mobility,but the total effective rate in treatment group is better than the control group.Conclusion: Both of the two treatments have satisfactory effects on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(qi and blood stasis type),both can relieve the clinical symptoms and improve the quality of life of the patients.In the 2 courses of treatment,Qixiong granule was more effective than Jingtong granule.Qixiong granule had the advantages of non-toxic side effect,short course of treatment,quick effect and high acceptance of patients in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.It can be used as one of the first choice in clinical treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(qi and blood stasis type),and is worthy of clinical promotion.
