Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with acupuncture in the treatment of nape arthralgia(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type).Methods:60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(30 cases in each group). The treatment group was treated with heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with routine acupuncture, while the control group was treated with routine acupuncture. Both groups were treated once a day for 5 days as a course of treatment. After one course of treatment, they rested for 2 days. Two groups were treated with VAS pain score and clinical symptoms before and after treatment.Sign score was used to compare the clinical efficacy. Results:Of the 60 cases,2 cases dropped out(1 case in each group),so the data were analyzed with 29 cases in each group. There was no significant difference in gender, age and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05).(1)Analysis of the curative effect of the two groups:9 cases were cured in the treatment group,11 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were improved,2 cases were ineffective, the marked cure rate was 68.97%,the total effective rate was 93.10%;6 cases in the control group were cured,5 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were improved,5 cases were ineffective, the marked cure rate was 37.93%,the total effective rate was 82.76%,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)VAS scores in the two groups were compared, and the treatment rate was 93%.After treatment, the scores of clinical symptoms and signs in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,P<0.01;The scores of neck and shoulder pain, upper limb pain and numbness, and intervertebral foramen compression test in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,P<0.01;(3)After treatment, the VAS scores in the two groups were lower than those in the control group,P<0.05;The scores of clinical symptoms and signs in the two groups were lower than those in the control group,P<0.05;The comparison between the two groups was made In terms of perception, the treatment group was higher than the control group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the foramen compression test(P>0.05);conclusion:(1)heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with acupuncture can improve the clinical efficacy of nape arthralgia(Qi stagnation and blood stasis type).(2)Heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can alleviate pain and improve clinical symptoms and signs;(3)Heat-sensitive moxibustion combined with acupuncture is better than conventional acupuncture in reducing pain, which can better alleviate neck and shoulder pain, upper limb pain and numbness, and improve sensation.
