Investigation And Analysis Of Nurse Lateral Violence Prevention Knowledge-Attitude-Practice Status

ObjectivesTo obtain the knowledge of nurses lateral violence at home and abroad and the research status,develop scientific and rational nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire,then,investigate and learn about status of nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice,according to the results of the investigation and analysis,offering Suggestions for the nurse lateral violence feasible preventive measures,Providng reference and basis for nurse managers to making effective preventive measures and policies.Methods(1)Literature review:systematically searched Pubmed,Ovid,embase,CBM,cnki,wanfang database and weipu journals with keywords,grasped the knowledge and status of horizontal violence at home and abroad,extracted relevant contents and formed a questionnaire item pool.(2)Topic group discussion:a discussion group was formed to further improve the contents and quality of the item pool,and a preliminary questionnaire was formed based on the knowledge-attitude-practice model.(3)Expert consultation:select appropriate consultative experts,conduct two rounds of expert consultation by email,screen and modify the items of the questionnaire according to the experts' opinions,and further improve the content of the first draft of the questionnaire.(4)Questionnaire survey:(1)189 nursing staff in a 3 tertiery general hospital in jingzhou was firstly surveied,To complete items analysis and reliability and validity test(2)314 nursing staff in two 3 tertiery general hospitals in Hubei Province was formally surveied by nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire,(5)Statistical analysis:using excel2007 and spss22.0 software for statistical data analysis,items analysis by using Critical Ratio(CR)and Pearson Correlation method,the reliability test using Cronbach's alpha method,validity test using the content validity index and exploratory factor analysis,the investigation date analysis,measurement data with mean,standard deviation,count data with ratio,independent sample t test,single factor analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis were used for statistical inference.Results(1)Through literature review and focus group discussion,nurse lateral violence(2)preventive knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire was initially formed,with a total of 46 items.(3)The positive coefficient of experts consultations were 77.3%and 100%,the overall expert authority coefficient was 0.84,the item variation coefficients range were 0.00-0.24 and 0.00-0.19,and the Kendall's W were 0.313 and 0.488.According to the expert consultation results,a total of 3 items were deleted,1 item was added,and 12 items were modified at last.(4)Two items were deleted according to the items analysis,the total Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.939,and the content validity index were 1.00,0.99 and 0.98.Three factors were respectively extracted from the exploratory factor analysis,and the cumulative variance interpretation were 81.53%,78.34%and 78.41%,the factor conception analyzed was basically consistent with the conception constructed in the questionnaire.(5)Nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice total score is 147.19,the total score in the age,working years,highest education,position,title,whether had lateral violence learning or training experience was statistically different(p<0.05),nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge score was 34.42,knowledge scores at the highest education,position,title,whether had lateral violence learning or training experience was statistically different(p<0.05),nurse lateral violence preventive attitude score was 52.05,Attitude score in working years,title,whether had lateral violence learning or training experience was statistically different(p<0.05),nurse lateral violence preventive practice score was 59.87,practice score in gender,age,department,working years,title,position,whether had lateral violence learning or training experience was statistically different(p<0.05);nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge was related to attitude and practice respectively(r=0.45,r=0.50);nurse lateral violence preventive attitude was related to practice(r=0.38).Conclusions(1)The nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire has good reliability and validity,which can be used to evaluate the status of nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice.(2)The status of nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge-attitude-practice needs to be improved,the nursing staffs knowledge overall is low,especially for lateral violence response and prevention measures,the nursing staff of lateral violence prevention work with positive attitude,but lack of confidence,nursing staff lateral(3)violence preventive practice was lack of initiative,and response negatively.(4)Nurse lateral violence preventive knowledge can affect attitude and practice,nurse lateral violence preventive attitude can affect practice too.(5)The learning or training of lateral violence has an impact on the knowledge attitude and practice level of lateral violence of nursing staff.
