Objective:We prepared the Questionnaire of Neurosurgery Nurses' Analgesic,Sedative, and Trustworthy Questionnaire to understand the current state of knowledge, attitude, practice of neurosurgical nurses' analgesia and sedation in the Third Grade A General Hospital in Taiyuan,Shanxi province, and to preliminary discuss its' related influencing factors.Methods:1.preparation: Based on the knowledge-attitude-practice theory model, after consulting domestic and foreign literature, relevant guidelines, and expert consensus, together with consulting with clinically relevant medical and nursing experts and statistical experts,an initial entry pool was formed to conduct two rounds of expert review and screening. In the entry pool,an initial questionnaire for the Neurosurgery Nurse Analgesic Sedation,Sedation, and Trustworthy Questionnaire was formed, and 98 neurosurgical nurses who met the inclusion criteria were selected for preliminary investigations in the Third Grade A General Hospital of Taiyuan,Shanxi province, and were evaluated according to the results of the preliminary investigation and the results of the expert review. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire items were tested to form the final version of the questionnaire.2.Investigation of the current status: Using the convenience sampling method, thefinal version was applied.Questionnaires were surveyed for neurosurgical nurses in 5 of the 3 major general hospitals in Taiyuan,Shanxi province, and according to the inclusion exclusion criteria,a total of 220 nurses were surveyed.Application rates and percentages descriptive analysis of the general data of survey respondents was used.By using means±standard deviation describes the score of the questionnaire, and analyzes the influencing factors by using t-test or one-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis.Results:1.Questionnaire preparation and evaluation: After two rounds of expert review,an initial questionnaire was formed with a total of 35 entries; The results of the pre-survey were analyzed. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.882,and the test-retest reliability was 0.906.The content validity is 0.912.According to the questionnaire validity standard, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire are good.2.Current situation survey results:(1)The score of knowledge about analgesia and sedation was(9.13±1.39),the highest rate of each item was 83.90%,the minimum rate of answer was 18.54%;the part of attitude toward analgesia and sedation was(34.46±1.63);The behavior of analgesia and sedation score was(13.90±2.58).(2)According to the results of one-way ANOVA,the scores of neurosurgical nurses' analgesic, sedative, knowledge, and trustworthy scores increased overall with age,the time of working in neurosurgery, job title, and education level(P<0.05).);The nurses who participated in related training had higher scores in knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of analgesia and sedation than those who had not participated in training(P<0.05).(3)According to multiple linear regression analysis, the main factors affecting the analgesic and sedation knowledge scores were: neurosurgery age, whether they had received relevant training, job title, education level, and age;and the main factors affecting analgesia-sedation-related attitude score were knowledge score, neurosurgical age,job title, education level, and age;the main factors affecting analgesic sedation behaviorscores were neurosurgery age, knowledge score, attitude score, job title, and education level;(4)Pearson correlation analysis. There was a significant positive correlation between the analgesic and sedation knowledge scores and attitude scores of nurses in neurosurgery(r=0.760,P<0.001),and there was a significant positive correlation between analgesia and sedation knowledge scores and behavioral scores(r=0.722,P<0.001),there was a strong correlation between the static degree score and behavioral score of the town of pain(r=0.551,P=0.001).Conclusion:The analgesic and sedation knowledge acquired by neurosurgical nurses in the Third Grade A General Hospital in Taiyuan,Shanxi province was unsatisfactory, which is consistent with the results of relevant studies by domestic scholars;the attitude towards sedation and analgesic is still acceptable but still further strengthened; The implementation of sedation and analgesia is not optimistic and needs to be strengthened.Remind managers that they should provide some relevant training and opportunities for out-of-school learning to low-grade nurses in the department to improve the quality of neurosurgical analgesia and sedation, and to promote the recovery of patients.
