Clinical Observation Of Yiqi Tongbian Decoction Combined With Auricular Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Senile Chronic Constipation (Qi Deficiency And Jin Deficiency)

Objective:Observe the change of quantitative score of TCM syndrome of Yiqi Tongbian Decoction combined with auricular acupuncture in elderly patients with qi-deficiency and jin deficiency in chronic constipation,the clinical efficacy and safety of this method were discussed.Methods:Seventy-two patients were observed who met the inclusion criteria,and cases were numbered,and randomized using a table of random numbers in the control group(36 cases)and the treatment group(36 cases).Control group: give lactulose oral solution(infusion);treatment group: give Yiqi Tongbian decoction,and with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine auricular acupuncture.The course of treatment in both groups was less than 14 days.The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups and the occurrence of any adverse reactions were observed and recorded.After the end of treatment,the changes in TCM syndrome scores,the total clinical efficacy and the recurrence after two weeks of drug withdrawal of the two groups were analyzed using SPSS22.0 statistical software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two treatment methods.Results:1.Comparison of the efficacy of various syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine in the two groups of patients: the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving dry stool,time for defecation,difficulty in defecation,laziness,dry mouth,bloating,spontaneous sweating,and diet symptoms(P<0.05);but in the treatment of shortness of breath symptoms,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).2.The total effective rate of the two groups of patients was compared:90.91% in the treatment group and 71.88% in the control group.The treatment group was better than the control group after treatment(P<0.05).Comparison of total syndrome scores after treatment:treatment group 5.15±4.78,control group 8.22±5.20,both treatments can relieve constipation symptoms,treatment group is better than control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of relapse rate between the two groups after two weeks of drug withdrawal: The relapse rate in the treatment group was 6.67%,and the relapse rate in the control group was 30.43%.The treatment effect in this period is better than that in the control group.4.The safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were statistically tested(P> 0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant,indicating that no serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion: Yiqi Tongbian Decoction combined with auricular acupuncture can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of elderly patients with chronic constipation(Qi deficiency and jin deficiency).
