Objective:1.Investigate the current situation of disaster preparedness of clinical nurses in Jiangsu Province and analyze its influencing factors to provide a basis for the intervention of clinical nurse' disaster preparedness.2.Based on the Israeli disaster rescue theory, develop a disaster preparedness intervention program for clinical nurses.Analyze the application effect of the intervention program on clinical nurses' disaster preparedness, with a view to providing guidance for improving nurses' disaster nursing ability and nurses' disaster relief quality.Methods:1.Investigation research:Using the convenience sampling method and using the "Nurse Disaster Preparedness Scale",in January 2018,clinical nurses were selected from the 5 third-grade class-A hospitals to conduct a disaster preparedness survey and analyze its influencing factors.2.Intervention research:Based on the Israeli disaster rescue theory, with the theoretical knowledge and skills related to disaster rescue as the main training content, comprehensive training methods of theoretical training, simulation teaching and situational drills, under the guidance of clinical nursing experts, compile training outlines, prepare training materials, record training videos, and develop disaster preparedness intervention programs that suitable for clinical nurses in China. From February to April 2018,all nurses in the 5 third-grade class-A hospitals were trained in a combination of training courses, intensive study in the department, simulated field exercises, and self-study.After the training, the convenience sampling method was used again to conduct a survey on the "Nurse Disaster Preparedness Scale",compared the survey results with those before the intervention and compared the changes in nurses' disaster preparedness scores, analyzed the guiding significance of the intervention programs to improve clinical nurses' disaster preparedness.Results:1.Survey on the current status of disaster preparedness of clinical nurses:a total of 270 valid questionnaires were recovered. The results showed that the total score of clinical nurses' disaster preparedness was(185.43±31.42),which was at a middle level and the disaster preparedness knowledge of nurses is' uneven;nurses have a low level of grasp on biological disasters. The different dimensions' scores of the nurses' disaster preparedness from high to low are:disaster knowledge:(4.14±0.44),disaster skills:(4.13±0.21),disaster management:(4.02±0.17);professional title, disaster relief experience and disaster training are the main influencing factors of nurses' disaster preparedness.2.Intervention study on disaster preparedness of clinical nurses:a total of 270 valid questionnaires were recovered. The data analysis results showed that the disaster preparedness intervention program developed based on the Israeli disaster rescue theory has significantly improved clinical nurses' disaster preparedness.Through training interventions, nurses' disaster preparedness scores in all dimensions were higher than before intervention(P<0.01):disaster knowledge[(4.38±0.86)vs.(4.14±0.44)],disaster skills[(4.39±0.88)vs.(4.13±0.21)],disaster management[(4.44±0.90)vs.(4.02±0.17)].Nurses of female, age ?25 years old and between 26-35 years old, different educational backgrounds, working years ?5 years and 6-10 years, different professional title of nurses, different disaster relief experiences, nurses who have participated in disaster training, departments of emergency and intensive medicine in the comparison of before and after of the intervention of the scores of disaster preparedness are statistically significant(P<0.05).Among them, the disaster preparedness score of nurses with working years ?5 years(4.57±0.88)was higher than the score of nurses with working yearsb between 6-10 years(4.37± 0.83)and the score of nurses with working years ?11 years(4.12±0.67),and the disaster preparedness score of nurses aged ?25 years is higher than that of the other two groups of nurses, indicating that clinically young nurses are more likely to improve disaster preparedness through the intervention programConclusion:1.Clinical nurses' disaster preparedness is at a medium level.Professional title, disaster relief experience and disaster training are the main influencing factors that affect nurses'disaster preparedness.Prompt nursing managers to actively carry out clinical nurses' disaster nursing education and training,in order to improve nurses' disaster preparedness, and improve clinical nurses' ability to respond to disaster events.2.The clinical nurse's disaster preparedness intervention program developed based on the Israeli disaster rescue theory has applicability in the local area and has a positive significance for improving the clinical nurse's disaster preparedness.Learning from the international advanced rescue experience, linking with current clinical nurse training practice, comprehensive multimedia teaching materials and various teaching methods to actively carry out disaster nursing theory, knowledge and skill training can promote the improvement of disaster rescue ability of regional nurses.
