Objective: by understanding changchun city emergency department nurses quit intention,mental toughness and the present condition of the working pressure load,thus to explore the main influence factors of emergency department nurses quit intention,on the basis of the results,targeted Suggestions,improve the level of nurses' mental toughness,stabilize nursing troop,alleviate nurses quit intention rate,provides reference for nursing managers.Methods: a questionnaire survey was conducted among 286 emergency departm ent nurses in 5 grade a hospitals in changchun.The questionnaire included general demographic data questionnaire,mental toughness scale,work stress load scale and turnover intention scale.Excel was used to double input the data,and SPSS19.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Descriptive statistical analysis,t test,one-way anova,Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate linear stepwise regression analysis were used for the data.Results:(1)the total score of mental toughness of emergency department nurses was(61.01±13.85),the total score of work pressure load was(60.36±14.41),and the total score of turnover intention was(13.52±3.68).(2)one-way analysis of variance showed that there were statistically significant differences in the mental toughness of emergency department nurses in terms of educational background,working years,professional title,tenure,number of night shifts per month and monthly income(p<0.05).The differences of work pressure load of emergency department nurses in gender,working years,professional title,number of night shifts per month and other aspects were statistically significant(p<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the age,educational background,working years,professional title,employment mode,number of night shifts per month and monthly income of nurses' turnover intention(p<0.05).(3)correlation analysis showed that mental toughness of emergency department nurses was negatively correlated with turnover intention(p<0.05),and work pressure load of emergency department nurses was positively correlated with turnover intention(p<0.05).The results of multiple linear stepwise regression analysis show that the employment mode,educational level,professional title,working years,monthly income,self-improvement dimension,resilience dimension and event load dimension enter the regression equation and are the relevant factors affecting the turnover intention of emergency department nurses,which can explain the variation rate of turnover intention of 32.3%.Conclusion: the mental toughness of the nurses in the emergency department of grade a hospitals in changchun city was lower than the average level.The important factors influencing the turnover intention of emergency department nurses are the employment mode,educational level,professional title,working years,monthly income,self-improvement dimension,tenacity dimension and incident load dimension.
