Effect Of Sanyu Xiaotong Decoction On Rehabilitation After Partial Meniscectomy Under Knee Arthroscopy

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Sanyu Xiaotong Decoction on rehabilitation after partial meniscectomy under knee arthroscopy.Methods: From December 2017 to December 2018,patients with meniscus injury diagnosed and treated by arthroscopic partial meniscectomy were collected in Department of Orthopedics,Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Eighty patients who met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis were randomly divided into control group and experimental group with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given general treatment(cold compress,pressure bandage,functional exercise);the experimental group was given oral treatment combined with Sanyu Xiaotong Decoction on the basis of the control group.The VAS score,knee circumference and knee motion data of the two groups were collected at 1 day,1 week and 2 weeks after operation.The clinical data collected were analyzed by SPSS20.0 software,and the statistical significance was set at P < 0.05.Results: 1.The clinical study collected 80 patients with meniscus injury who underwent arthroscopic partial meniscectomy with syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis.40 patients in the experimental group and 40 patients in the control group completed the clinical study.2.There was no significant difference in baseline data(age,sex,affected side,intraoperative complications)between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.3.Contrast between two groups: Compared with the first day after operation,the knee circumference and VAS scores of the experimental group and the control group decreased and the knee mobility increased in 1 and 2 weeks after operation(P<0.05);compared with the first week after operation,the knee circumference and VAS scores of the experimental group and the control group decreased and the knee mobility increased in 2 weeks after operation,with statistical difference(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups: 1 week after operation and 2 weeks after operation,there were significant differences in knee circumference,knee range of motion and VAS score between the two groups(P< 0.05);no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment.Conclusion: Sanyu Xiaotong Decoction has a significant effect on the rehabilitation of patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis after partial meniscectomy under arthroscopy,and it is safe and reliable,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
