Purpose: In patients with knee meniscus injury,the traditional Chinese medicine treatment for blood circulation and swelling during rehabilitation period is a unique treatment for Orthopaedics and Traumatology Department in our hospital.It not only reflects the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine,but also proposes a new approach to the treatment of knee meniscus injury with integrated Chinese and Western medicine.The direction.The purpose of this study was to treat patients with knee meniscus injury using traditional Chinese medicine for blood circulation and swelling,and to evaluate the clinical efficacy by observing the swelling,pain,degree of muscle atrophy,and knee joint motion in conjunction with the knee joint Lysholm scoring system.To provide new medical treatment ideas for the treatment of orthopedic diseases by Chinese medicine.Methods: Forty-four patients with meniscal injury were randomly divided into two groups,22 in the observation group,including 5 males and 17 females;aged 18-55 years;9 cases of left limb and right limb 13 example.In the conventional treatment group,there were 22 cases,including 7 males and 15 females;the age ranged from 18 to 55 years old;there were 8 left-sided limbs and 14 right-sided limbs.Both groups of patients were treated with arthroscopic surgery.One day after the operation,the observation group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wudai Powder orally,and until 2 weeks after the operation,the two days after surgery,the third day and the first Pain in the week and week two.Postoperative VAS scores were performed on the third day,the first week,and the second week after the operation.The most swollen and healthy knees were measured in the first,second,and fourth weeks after operation.The difference of the circumference of the same site was observed;the degree of knee joint activity and degree of muscle atrophy were observed and recorded in the first,second and fourth weeks after the operation of the affected limbs.The knee joint was assessed by the Lysholm scoring system.Data applications were analyzed using SPSS 17.0.Results:(1)Analgesic effect: There was no difference in statistics between the two groups on the third postoperative day,p>0.05;postoperative one week analgesic efficacy was different,p<0.01,the observation group had better pain relief than the conventional treatment group;postoperative two weeks The analgesic effect was significantly different(p<0.01).The observation group had significantly more pain relief than the conventional treatment group.(2)Degree of swelling: There was no difference in statistics between the two groups on the third postoperative day,p>0.05;there was a statistical difference between the two groups in the first postoperative week,p<0.05,and the observation group had excellent swelling effect.In the conventional treatment group,there was significant statistical difference at the second postoperative week,p<0.01,indicating that the observation group was more effective.(3)Muscular atrophy: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the first week after surgery,p>0.05;in the second week after surgery,there was a statistical difference between the two groups,p<0.05,indicating postoperative The two-week observation group was superior to the conventional treatment group;there was no statistical difference between the two groups in the fourth week after surgery,p>0.05.(4)Knee mobility: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the first week after surgery,p>0.05;the knee joint activity was significantly different in the second week after surgery,p<0.01.The observation group was better than the conventional treatment group.There was no significant difference in the fourth week after operation,p>0.05.(5)knee Lysholm score: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the first week after surgery,p>0.05;there was a significant difference between the two groups in the second week after surgery,p<0.01,the observation group was better than the conventional treatment group;There was a statistically significant difference at the fourth week postoperatively,p<0.01,indicating that the observation group was more effective.Conclusion: For patients with knee meniscus injury after surgery,on the basis of conventional rehabilitation plus Taohong Siwu Decoction combined with Wuling Powder plus orally taken,the functional recovery of the affected limb is safe and effective,which is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
