Objective:In this study,we investigated the incidence of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis, and analyzed the clinical features of patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,so as to explore the correlation between scapulohumeral periarthritis and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, which was in order to provide a certain basis for further exploring the etiology of scapulohumeral periarthritis, provide a method for the localization diagnosis of the clinical scapulohumeral periarthritis, improve the current status of local symptomatic treatment and provide a certain guiding role for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the disease.Method:From March 2018 to February 2019,87 patients with unilateral scapulohumeral periarthritis, who visited the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital for “shoulder pain and shoulder movement limited”,were selected to meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria as the case group;a total of 87 relative normal persons who visited at the same time without “shoulder pain and shoulder movement limited” and were matched the age difference of ±2.5 years, same gender and 1:1 ratio to the case group, were used as the control group. We collected the clinical data of those cases and the cervical radiographic data, according analyzing the patients' imaging data to directly locate the diseased side of scapulohumeral periarthritis and statistics the positive rate.At the same time,we analyzed the correlation between scapulohumeral periarthritis and cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Result:In this study, the incidence of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy was higher in the case group than in the control group;the positive rate of cervical X-ray was 70.9%,the positive rate of cervical CT or MRI was 89.1%,and the comprehensive positive rate of 3examinations was 83.9%.There was a correlation between the scapulohumeral periarthritis and the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Conclusion:The imaging data of the cervical vertebra may give some hints for the localization diagnosis of the left and right shoulders of the scapulohumeral periarthritis. There is a certain correlation between the scapulohumeral periarthritis and the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. However, further research and verification is still needed.
