Objective: Applying investigative research,to understand the current situation of stigma in stroke patients,to analyze the related factors affecting stigma. It is helpful for health care personnel to recognize and understand the sense of stigma, which is of great significance for clinical intervention in the future to improve the quality of life of patients and promote their recovery, and provides guidance and theoretical basis for further scientific research. Methods: Convenient sampling method was used to select 306 patients hospitalized with stroke from April 2018 to December 2018,in two Leval 3 A hospitals in Xi'an,Shaanxi. The Social Impact Scale, the Social Support Rating Scale, the Self-Esteem Scale, the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depress-24,and the General Demographic Social Data Questionnaire were used for Cross-sectional survey study.Data analysis and processing were performed using SPSS19.0 statistical software.Statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis, statistical analysis with single factor, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis.Result:(1)The score of stigma in stroke patients was(65.26±9.34).In each dimension, the social exclusion was(21.75±3.44),the economic discrimination was(8.90±1.93),the internal shame was(14.41±2.62),the social isolation was(20.19±3.17).(2)The social support score of stroke patients was(41.63±7.73),the self-esteem was(19.98±4.07),the depression score was(20.10±8.91).Correlation analysis showed that the stigma of patients with stroke was negatively correlated with social support, the correlation coefficient was-0.479,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the correlation coefficient between stigma and self-esteem was 0.024,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05);the relationship between stigma and depression was positive, and the correlation coefficient was 0.268,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The results of univariate analysis showed that patients with different age, residence, occupation, family per capita income, the way of living, inpatient care, incipient disease, daily activity ability, social support,self-esteem and depression had different stigma scores, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the stigma score of stroke patients was mainly affected by social support, daily activity ability, the way of living and family income per capita.Conclusion:(1)In this study,Stroke patients generally have high stigma, good social support, low self-esteem and serious depression.(2)Social support and daily activities have a positive predictive effect on the stigma of stroke patients. The way of living and income per capita of the family have a negative predictive effect on the stigma of stroke patients.(3)Multiple linear regression results showed that the main factors affecting the stigma of stroke patients were: social support, daily activity ability, the way of living and family monthly income per capita, that is,the better daily activities, the more social support, the higher the family income, the experience of stigma is relatively light, and the experience of stigma in a solitary person is lower than that of a person living with others.(4)In the process of rehabilitation of stroke patients, medical staff should pay sufficient attention to the stigma of stroke patients. For those patients with low family income, less social support, and poor daily activities,we should take care and take positive measures to reduce the patient's stigma, and in the case of the condition of the disease, should give the patient a certain space of solitude, prompting the patient to recover better and faster.
